Hi there - I hear that Quantum of Solace is going to feature eight private jets. Does anyone know whether this is the first use of such things since Goldfinger? I think Auric Goldfinger flew in a Lockheed Tristar.
Thanks
Thanks

Ok I'm a spotter
Goldfinger - Brantly helicopter.
Octopussy - Beech 18
It just shows how much of the on-screen gadgetry just goes over your head (mine anyway. Looking forward to Q of S.
Thanks again
I'm eager to see the full length aerial sequence with the DC-3. The little shown in the trailers is very appetite-wetting.

TND - I thought that the jets used in TND were L-39 (Albatros) not L-59s (typing error?)- at least that's what the one used in the film that the late Mark Hanna flew is listed as.
Addition for YOLT - Wallis WA-116 (how could you miss Little Nellie)?
Addition for TLD - although I can't think of the aircraft type etc (it's too modern for me), they used a twin engined aircraft for close-ups where the (C-130) Hercules was involved.
L59 is the newer version of the Albatross slip of memory, yes Little Nellie but I was thinking more of standard aircraft and the twin engined transport is a C-123 Provider mentioned as C-123 ,forgot about the Allouette III in OP .
Thanks so much for that. Blimey, what a list. I'm incredibly impressed that anybody would even have that kind of info, let alone at their fingertips.
Regards
Sid
You're not alone.
Aircraft tend to go over my head too
I can't believe that was me four years ago. I can't believe I actually asked that! I should be ashamed Since then I've become quite the aviation enthusiast and amateur plane spotter. I pride myself in my ability to spot the differences between various commercial airliners
I wonder what sort of planes will be in Skyfall.
