I'm jealous of you European people. I wish I could join you and live your sophisticated, educated ways. Instead, I'm in stuck in the country of inner-city crime, corporate greed, zero concern for health/environment, but I can dream of getting out.. Lol
Well, I've just got home from spending the day in Central London ... Nothing sophisticated and plenty of inner city crime, corporate greed and zero concern on health and environment ... Always Shaken is right. The grass is always greener. Ive been to lots of Europe and the big cities are all the same.
The ironic thing is I was seriously considering moving to NJ at one stage. I have family there and love the US. New Jersey is lovely and just the feeling of space and fresh air !! Proper seasons and easy to get to from the UK. (Family have since moved to California - I'm not happy ) )
One thing Europe can beat you on hands down, is history. I always giggle when I hear an american say, 'its really old. Its been here a hundred years' ... My house is older than that!! )

Interesting. A lot of people in NJ want to get out because it's stressful and it's barely possible to live in if you make under 50g's. Europe is notoriously expensive too, but at least there's a stronger middle class. Anyway, it's probably best I don't derail this topic anymore.

Actually, some of the folk I met in NJ used to say how busy it was and I would be incredulous! Just being able to go somewhere and park, going to a restaurant at lunchtime and being able to get a table, drive through ATM's ... bliss ) .... Then again you're talking to a woman who drove into London today. It took 5 hours to do a 50 mile round trip.

^ You know I'm sure that there's a gentleman that looks very like you over on MI6 Community.
Yes, that's my twin brother on MI6 )
I'm taking a break actually from MI6 too much negativity there at the moment.
Yes, we tend to get the usual "Deluge" on Bond forums when a new Bond films hits the cinema where casual film fans parachute in from the ether and quickly jump on the "Bondwagon" for a few months and then flutter away like butterflies into the sky. Pay them no heed!
"The tough man of the world. The Secret Agent. The man who was only a silhouette." - Ian Fleming, Moonraker (1955).
Yes, as SM and other explained to me. With every new film there
seems to be an increase in negative posts. best to try and ride
out the wave, until normal service resumes. )
Basically with me, there's not a Bond actor I don't like and there's
not a Bond film, I wouldn't watch. {[]
So if you ever feel down pop over to " The silencer and bra strap"
and I happily talk Bond all day long.

I too like all 6 actors, while I was quite critical of Daniel Craig after SF, that movie just didn't do it for me.
Now after Spectre I can say in good faith, I like all 6 actors very much.
Of course Timothy will always be my favourite, but that has a lot to do with him being my first Bond (TLD) and turning me into a huge fan of the series.
Objectively nobody is able to hold a candle to Sir Sean Connery...or Dame Edna Everage!
Are you a fan of Edna or is that just a random avatar ) ?
) I do love Edna and Sir Les Patterson but Higgins said it was how
He imagined me, so I thought why not ( and I do sometimes act like
a grumpy old woman)
I think I hold very similar views as yourself, in that I think Dalton, really
nailed Bond, he was the Bond of the novels on screen -{ but I also love
Connery and Craig ( can't make my mind up on who's best, so I just love
them all) then again I grew up watching Sir Roger so he's a favourite too
........... I like Brosnan and Lazenby as well, I guess like Bibi, " I'm Fickle "

I have the classic Dame Edna Everage series on DVD. I watch the Christmas special regularly in July.
...no, on Christmas of course )
The one episode with Sean Connery is hilarious. Well all of them are hilarious )
Yes a very funny show, and Sir Sean seemed more relaxed on it, than on some
Talk shows he's done in the past.
I'm old enough to have comedy LPs ( They look like large compact discs ) )
Several feature Dame Edna.
