I have tonight removed (disabled not deleted) the Casino Royale forum for better or worse. If there's any topics you'd like recovered please let me know and I will do my best to find them.

I did move a few which had been responded to fairly recently.

I figure any CR / QOS links can be discussed in the Quantum of Solace forum as they will be mroe relevant there.

Can you just integrate the threads from the CR forum into the Films Forum? The CR Forum contains some amazing stuff, starting with the announcement of Craig as the next Bond. The contentious build-up to the release of CR was pretty crazy around here, and it would be a shame to have all that history unavailable to us. Thanks.

How about a revolving top 10 greatest hits thread? That could include some of the ones announcing Craig.

I don't mind doing a summary of CR reviews posted, would need access to it though.

Right I've had a change of heart, sort of, for the time being the forum will be locked. The primary reason is to not lose search engine positions for some of the content.

The content will then be archived but it will never be deleted (intentionaly at least!) and I am working on ways to make it available and reduce database load.

As for a best of feel free Napolean, now you can access the forum you could do a best of and link to the topic too for further information.

If you would like to let me know and we can do it as a look back around the release of QOS. It hink it would make a nice feature.

Is there a reason this and QoS threads can only be read instead of posted in now? I don't quite understand why they are unavailable. Where should we post if we have specific posts that we want to relate to those films now?

These forums (actually, fora, but this ain't a Latin class) are closed because they're old and have served their purpose--mainly to give people a place to post about the most recent Bond film(s). If you have a question or comment about either or both film, the place to take it is the Films Forum. . .where you can also post about any other film featuring James Bond.
