I just met Roger Moore!

I just met Roger Moore at his book signing here in New Jersey, im so excited despite that it didn't go very well. I was the third to last person, they ran out of his books so they were taking preorders which he'll sign and ill pick up Friday. The bad part is again I was third last and they were basically pushing me out the door. I said that I was a big fan, shook his hand and that was it. I was fumbling more with my camera then I was concentrating on him. On top of that my camera stopped working right at the time i was about to take his picture. Damn camera always stops working at the worst times possible, its just unbelievable. Finally it starting working again, and as they were pushing me out the door i managed to get one pic walking out.

I just wish they weren't pushing me out the door so I could enjoy the moment. Nevertheless I met Roger Moore, just watched the LALD Blu-ray and im happy.

He looks great in that photo! Shaking his hand was a big deal! Trust me, book signings can be SO frustrating for fans! You can never get out what you want to say in the 10 seconds you are allowed, let alone convey how much that person has meant to you! It almost always is ruined by something beyond your control! You want to make a lasting impression, yet you obsess about being too over the top, or making a fool of yourself! Sound about right? ) I feel your pain, and like Loeff said, at least you met him! Good for you!

Cool! But doesn't that dumb idiot in the way look like he thinks you're taking the picture of him. He's even smiling right at you.
