How did Greene know

that Camille was present in the desert building at the end of the movie - when he presumed she was shot by the General - and he said to Bond 'you've lost another one'.

He hadn't seen her , as she arrived via a separate enterance. Why did he not think it was the waitress that was shot, as she was sent to the General's suite in front of Greene?

I think he knew Bond hadn't come alone and assumed he was with Camille. It was a punt.
