Bond short stories involving trust

Hey guys. I'm about to write a rather major school essay, in which I will study a number of literary works and the way that they present the idea of trust. I'm no Bond expert, but I do know that he tries to "trust no one." I figured that it would be fun to study a James Bond short story. However, I don't know if there are any that delve deeply into things like trust and betrayal. Is there one of such nature?

In short: I need to know which James Bond short story discusses the idea of trust.

I think the The Octopussy short might be ideal. It delves into betrayal for monetary gain, the ties of old friendship. You'll get Bond's feeling towards the breaking of trust. All from another person's POV.

    Good luck.:)
