An interesting list. Seeing as it was in chronological order, I don't really have any problems with its order. However I was surprised by a couple of ommisions.

In the entry for the killing of Locque, the writer notes 'I, for one, am glad Glen pushed to give Moore a harder edge.' I find this to be astonishing as two of Bond's most ruthless killings (both during the Moore years) were not mentioned. :o They were the killing of Sandor, IMO a more ruthless killing than that even of Dent in DN, and the killing of Stromberg, one of the coldest killings in the entire series.

There were a few other surprising omissions (such as the killing of Dent and a few of the deaths of the henchmen in OHMSS) but TSWLM's complete absence as well as the total absence of GE (*which arguably had two great death scenes) are IMO the most questionable about this list. ;)

*The deaths of Xenia and Alec
"He’s a man way out there in the blue, riding on a smile and a shoeshine. And when they start not smiling back—that’s an earthquake. and then you get yourself a couple of spots on your hat, and you’re finished. Nobody dast blame this man. A salesman is got to dream, boy. It comes with the territory." Death of a Salesman

All in all, I think it's a good list. I certainly don't agree with Blofeld's "death" in DAF (or even with his death in FYEO) or Elliot Carver's ridiculous death in TND (oh yes, let's stand in front of the drill and scream for ten seconds while it comes toward me!) but otherwise there are some good picks.

I'm glad they list the four deaths in LTK, but think they should have added a fifth: Milton Krest's exploding head.

And Dan Same, I agree that TSWLM should be listed on there, as Sandor's kill is probably Moore's most ruthless moment.

And am I the only one who loves Gustav Graves's death in DAD? I was happy to see both Graves and his Tin Man outfit get chopped to bits through that propeller.

I would add the killing of Locke in Thunderball, using a spear gun to stick him to a tree and Xenia in GE.

For me the best death scene is the killing of Red Grant in FRWL. Brutal fight ending in a brutal death.

to be honest, I often find myself wishing Bond would use his gun more often.
Having said that, my favourite "kills" are (in this order): Sanchez in LTK, Red Grant in FRWL, Locque in FYEO, Electra King in TWINE and Necros in TLD.
    1. Cr, 2. Ltk, 3. Tld, 4. Qs, 5. Ohmss, 6. Twine, 7. Tnd, 8. Tswlm, 9. Frwl, 10. Tb, 11. Ge, 12. Gf, 13. Dn, 14. Mr, 15. Op, 16. Yolt, 17. Sf, 18. Daf, 19. Avtak, 20. Sp, 21. Fyeo, 22. Dad, 23. Lald, 24. Tmwtgg

My favourite is Dario's death scene and scream in the cocaine factory in Licence To Kill.

Does it have to be only the villians?

One of my favourite deaths is that of 009 dressed as a clown in the beginning of Octopussy. I love that sequence.
Roger Moore is my favourite 007 R.I.P.
