Congratulations to "Loeffeholz" and "I Expect U 2 Die" for the pics.
Maybe all those Vesper converts should introduce ourselves on here with the Vesper in hand photos -{

I have been making and drinking Vespers for a number of years and I have to say that I have only once gone to 6 - and then (in the words of Dikko Henderson) went for the Big Spit.
Nowadays I abide by the Lady's breast rule... 1 is not enough and 3 is too many.
If anyone is in the North of England, there is a little town called Clitheroe. They have a cocktail bar that does the best Vesper's ever.
I asked for a Vesper, the bar dude confirmed the ingredients before I could tell him how to make it, and the till had Vesper programmed into it. he even uses Lillet.
6?! Thundernuts you're my new hero!! My first go-round with two and my wife started speaking another language to me... then I remembered she doesn't speak any other languages. Six and I imagine you would have been good for a minor surgical procedure. It actually is a great drink, very refreshing. By the way, I've found that about half of the barmen here know the Vesper but when ordering from servers, most are totally dumbfounded, especially when you list the ingredients. Because of this, my son recently gave me a gift of a box of business cards imprinted with a picture of a martini glass and the recipe. Saves me the trouble and works like a charm! -{
Six. Impressive. I've been making them for my nightly cocktail since I first read Casino Royale and found the website make mine a 007. The best I can do is 3. After that. I cut myself off. When the vodka, gin, and glass is in the freezer it make it so easy for them to go down.

I was in "I don't know, what am I drinking?" attire -{
A good reply to that comment about the bow-tie, i expect you to die, would have been:
"Do I look like I give a damn?"
