This ad has already had the p*** taken out of it up here. It's an attempt by the Government to lure wealthy ex-pats back home, so why show it in Scotland where all the people who already live here live?

Oh it's god awful, isn't it? It's soooo cringeworthy it makes you want to hide behind the cushion. Or emmigrate.

Of course, Connery loves it so much here that he dialled in that performance via satellite link from Nassau 8-)

*Clarification should be that it is the tartan-clad, 'See you Jimmy' hat wearing Scottish Government (as depicted on shortbread tins), and not the UK Government. I'm glad my tax pounds have paid for something so worthwhile while our economy crumbles around us.
