You can't have an X-Factor winner performing the theme for a Bond film. Is it not a bit...cheesy?

That bird who sung Take That's Rule The World would have done a good Bond song. Barlow said he wanted to do a Bond theme and I thought nah, but that was a Bond theme right there.

That said, Craig's films tend to be tough and nasty to open with, they need that 60s va va voom. Ballady songs were the Roger Moore era, give 'em a mini-movie than let them relax for a bit.

Hilary Duff was the teen sensation of her time in the midpoint between Britney Spears' and Miley Cyrus' teenybop reign.

Miley Cyrus is really the next Britney Spears.

If that stinkin' knucklehead Amy Winehouse could ever straighten herself out and get off the drugs I have no doubt that she could write and perform a Bond theme that could stand with some of the classics. What a waste.

Miley Cyrus has got a lot to look forward to. She'll be hugely popular, then the whole life will come crashing down in a fireball of bald heads and tears.

Personally, I don't think Amy Whinehouse should be chosen. She might - apparently - write good songs, but she's hardly a role model.

im in agreement with an artist like leona lewis doing the theme, so much talent! and now that she has established herself as a talented artist, not just a winner of a reality tv show, I think a leona song isn't out of the question.

I think the Killers should do a bond song. All their music is fantastic and modern. They would write and perform something energetic and meaningful to suit the modern James Bond

I'd bet on The Killers for the title song of Bond 23. David Arnold has already been quoted as saying he likes them for a theme song...which could also mean potential for more of a collaborative effort between Arnold and the theme song artist, which would mean that the score would incorporate the melody of the theme song (much like CR) which IMO usually makes for a better score (CR v QOS for exp). CR IMO was Arnold's best score (and most Barry like) even w/o the James Bond theme. "You Know My Name" actually worked better orchestrated as part of the score of CR than as a stand alone theme.

the cast of high school music!!! :v

the killers get on my nerves after ive heard their songs three times.

i think someone lke guns and roses would be good cos im a rocker, but leona lewis or beyonce could do a number.

According to the Bond 23 stub on Wikipedia (just search 'Bond 23') David Arnold is already in talks with the killers about performing the song.

    Girls Aloud would be IMMENSE.

No more "rock" tracks, please; yes, we get it, you all love Live and Let Die. Marvellous. Can we have another Diamonds Are Forever, or Nobody Does it Better, or Thunderball now, please?

The title song for Casino Royale has actually grown on and is essentially the best Bond song of this decade (since the other two were rusbbish), and while the instrument backing and melody for "Another Way to Die" was satisfactory, the less said about Alicia Keys' inane warbling the better.

We do need to get a decent, flowing melody with non instrusive singing.

I don't know, i just liked the whole electronic feel to the Bond themes.

Just as Madonna did for Die Another Day.
