Will history vindicate George W. Bush?

Well, the President of the United States is set to leave office in 2 or so days and it is clear that he would be leaving with one of the lowest approval ratings in American history among Presidents, at roughly 20%-30%. However, this is mostly due to the Iraq War, which remains unsolved, and the Subprime Morgage recession, which he his started to deal with by stimulus packages for the banks to help keep the economy afloat(the crisis was caused by people being too greedy and taking out more than they could pay back).
If you really take his stuff in the last 8 years into perspective, such as keeping the US safe since 9/11, and helping the American economy rebound after the dot com burst in 2000 via tax cuts, plus turning Iraq into a democracy (not now, but I'm sure in 20-50 years time we would look at Iraq as a major ally), he could easily rank up there with Washington, Lincoln, FDR, and Reagan.
I'm sure many British people would have an opinion on Iraq.

Those other men were men of principle. Bush is all for his people ($$$$) and everyone else can drown like the people of New Orleans.
Why don't we save this topic for twenty years into the future?
Amen!
Thanks Dan!!!!
