It is a good day. Not to hot, not to cold. It's just right. I have the day off from work and going to relax all day. Life is good!

My day has come to a close, but it was a wonderful blue sky sunny summer day down here in usually balmy Palmy. Went on a hike with dog and wife and polished it all off with an ale and chips at the local watering hole. Couldn't of asked for more!

I think some folks may have missed the inference of Number 24's post. However, I think Loeff's has the right forecast.

I agree, clouds are on the horizon Loeff, but the forecast seems brighter today than even yesterday. What we'll have to watch out for are the storms moving in from the right.

Interestingly, most bad weather comes from the opposite direction, at least in North America.

It's been so stormy and gloomy for so long, it's refreshing to see a nice warm front moving in.

The weather is a changeable thing; I've found it best to not put too much faith in it, no matter the season.

Let's just hope the weather stays nice for a long time. I'd hate to see a bad storm come and have everybody go inside and lock their doors, unable to enjoy things on the outside (due to the storm).

There are storm clouds on the horizon, but this week a large area of high pressure moved in, bringing with it blazing sunshine. We haven't seen the sun for a long time, so it's nice to have it back. {:)

Of course, this depends upon your vantage point. Which mountain you're standing upon...or valley you occupy.

That's convenient! So if you're on a mountain or in a valley, the points of a compass change? How remarkable! With such steadfast consistency, any day can be called 'beautiful' :(|)

I think 'youknowmyname's comment stems from his previous post of...

Me? As long as Britain's weather comes from the south east, continental Europe direction, I'm happy.

I think that everyone should try to make each day a beautiful day--because no one is guaranteed tomorrow.

And when the topic turns to the weather, each of our opinions has value; because to each of us our opinions are rarely wrong.;)

Whoa there, I'm not trying to say the points of the compass change (that's east and west my friend ;)), I'm just saying from which direction you're looking the storms can roll in from 'right' or 'left'. For many right now, high up on that mountain, storms can only seem to gather on the right and nigh from the left. Right now, the left looks so sunny it ain't even funny...but wait for that to change.

The compass will never change, but from wherever you're standing the direction of the storms can. Do you catch my 'drift'? :D

Of course, a lot of people on the left think it's so good right now that their weatherman could change the points on the compass. :p

The way you're standing makes no difference with regard to the actual direction from which the bad weather is coming. And that hasn't 'changed.'

Things are so great, they've switched off the doppler radar. Why worry?

It's a beautiful day. End transmission...
