altho i dislike NSNA as much as the next bloke, i will still be picking this up at some point. but I do like the cover art for this.

Good find! Commentary is a missed opportunity though, Dick Clement and Ian Le Frenais would have plenty to say about it being script doctors, and entertaining too!

    No deleted scenes. Shame.

I am thrilled that NSNA is finally getting a decent DVD. I was one of the unfortune buyers who purchased a copy of the film when it was missing the scene of Bond introducing himself to Domino at the casino. I never got around to sending MGM my defected copy so now I can up grade, and learn more about the "almost a Bond film but really" from the special features.

Same here! I rather like NSNA---for me, it was the best Bond film of 1983, without question---and I also own one of the 'bad discs.' When I'm in the mood for a Geezer Bond, nothing else satisfies :007)

Peresonally, I never cared for NSNA, with the exception of Kim Basinger, I found little to like. Barbara Carrera was dreadfully over-the-top as Fatima Blush, I didn't care for Bernie casey as Leiter and Klaus Maria Brandauer at times seemed kind of wimpy to me.

To me, this is a good example of why you don't want to remake any Bond movies. This film is not in the same league as TB.

Not for the first time and not for the last, I think, I have to disagree with my friend Loeffs and say OP was the better Bond film that year.

I've never been a fan of NSNA, and I already own the previous DVD release, so I can't see myself double-dipping for this one. I do wish that a better DVD had been available when I bought it in the first place, though. Perhaps if I find it really cheap somewhere I might buy it.

Great news. {[] The Special Features make this a must. I can throw the vanilla disk away. There is a very large pigeon outside, whose presence is annoying my dog. I might throw NSNA at its head and order the new disk.

I watched a bit of Never Say McClory Again, the fans' edition with John Barry last night. And bits of it really are okay, in particular the casino stuff and bike chase. That said, gotta say Sean Connery looked geezerish alright, creaky and 10 years older than his 52 years. Also, in the famous publicity shot above he had thick eyebrows and a decent toupe, but he has neither in the actual film, his wife suggested he trim his eyebrows.

Oh that is very good ak007! I think you need one of the bike chase however. And Fatima Blush in one of her flamboyant outfits - the red hat perhaps.

Also, on the spine maybe having it NEVER say NEVER AGAIN otherwise it make the title misleading. It's meant to mean Never Say 'Never Again'... (goes off to get a life).

For me to advise you on this ak007 would be like teaching Jordan to suck... oh never mind. :D

Would you just do image searches for jpegs with a hi-res? Does that work? ("That's right Jordan, just down a bit more...")

Eh? Surely the Ultimate Edition just has a pic of a Bond girl alongside, therefore a hires Fatima Blush in a red hat could do it?

Not all of the Ultimate Editions have a pic of a bond girl on them but here you go...

(Realises...) Oh, I thought you meant you wanted it like the new Ultimate Edition covers, which admittedly aren't too popular but look better on Blu-Ray. Perhaps you could do a Blu Ray design for the board?

It you now lost the Bentley and just had Blush, it would look like the new ones. Otherwise, I'm not sure the Bentley looks right in the background, you could either 1) swap it with the shark pic on the back cover 2) Google a generic pic of Nice or Ville Franche, a landscape shot, or a generic of the yaght used in the movie. It needn't be strictly from the film. :)
