I don't know if this is officialy a death But that guard Bond throws into the maggots in LTK wouldn't of looked too good after a while.

I always think that the maggots/worms what ever they were looked like over-cooked pasta shells. I think whoever came up with the effects should have been given the same fate as the guard...
    Exactly!

Just about all the good ones have already been mentioned. But I'll add Zao being crushed/impaled by the falling ice chandelier.

The scream just says it all.

I have to go with poor Milty in LICENCE TO KILL. I think we all agree the literary Krest deserved that gruesome death alot more. ;)

Yeah, I also felt Krest's death in "Licence To Kill" was most unpleasant. No wonder they cut that scene from the film in some countries!

Worst/Most Painful Death: Krest in Licence to Kill. Too gruesome.

Worst/Stupidest Death: Shady Tree in Diamonds Are Forever (Deleted Scene). Clever, but lousily executed. No pun intended.
    - Runner-up: Gurney victim in Moonraker. (But was this really a death? I'm going to say yes.)

I think Corinne's death was very cruel and established Drax as a very ruthless villain.
Krest's death has less of an effect because Sanchez has already fed Felix to a shark. Nonetheless it is easily the most violent in the series.
I thought Necros' death was good.

Dr. No's death was pretty gruesome, he was boiled to death but your head exploding like Krest in Licence to Kill and being burnt alive like Mr. Kidd in Diamonds Are Forever and Sanchez in Licence to Kill are just too horrible to think of as well.

How about the SPECTRE guy, Stazzino, who was fed to the sharks by Largo in Thunderball? That would be a terrifying and painful end.

How about the SPECTRE "live target" who gets strangled by Grant in the FRWL teaser? Always thought that one was brutal.

Speaking of Grant, being stabbed in the shoulder, and then strangled was a bit "unpleasant and humiliating."

I also felt sorry for Famke's Onatopp. Pity she didn't live to see another film....

I suppose I might add that Blofeld clone drowning in the mud in the PTS of DAF. His demise wasn't really painful, but certainly terrifying. I made another thread incidentally in which I speculated that he may have been trying to desperately plead for help in the final moments before he went under.

Here's my take on the worst deaths to happen in the series

YOLT: SPECTRE helicopter pilot who gets roasted by Little Nellie's flame throwers and Hans being eaten by the Piranha's

OHMSS: SPECTRE henchman who gets chopped up by the snow blower and the one who burns to death after Draco's enforcer shoots the flame thrower at him.

DAF: Mr. Kidd being set on fire

LALD: Baron Samedi falling into the snake filled coffin, Baines getting bitten by a snake

LTK: Sanchez get set on fire, Krest exploding, Heller being impaled by the fork lift, Dario get chopped up in the grinder machine

Worst death ever in my eyes in drowning... so the worst death that comes to mind is Angelo Pallazi (spelling?) from Thunderball. Anyone else drowned?
    1 - LALD, 2 - AVTAK, 3 - LTK, 4 - OP, 5 - NTTD, 6 - FYEO, 7 - SF, 8 - DN, 9 - DAF, 10 - TSWLM, 11 - OHMSS, 12 - TMWTGG, 13 - GE, 14 - MR, 15 - TLD, 16 - YOLT, 17 - GF, 18 - DAD, 19 - TWINE, 20 - SP, 21 - TND, 22 - FRWL, 23 - TB, 24 - CR, 25 - QOS

    1 - Moore, 2 - Dalton, 3 - Craig, 4 - Connery, 5 - Brosnan, 6 - Lazenby

Mr. Kidd may have eventually drowned in the ocean. Assuming he wasn't already burned to death before he hit the water.

Also in the same movie, he and his boyfriend Mr. Wint, brutally drown at least two people. Mrs. Whistler and Plenty O'Toole.

I have always been disgusted yet intrigued by the man at the beginning of CR who just wouldn't die. I thought he had it tough. He got beaten all over by Bond. Pushed through wooden cubicles. Crashed his hand into a mirror and then drowned. Then, after all that, he is shot in what I assume is his face!

I also though pitty on the two guys that plumeted off the mountain in the OHMSS ski scene.

Also Hans when he got eaten and Drax, with his dieing breath, was shot into space and his head would have exploded with the pressure. :v

Bad, to be sure, but for all the violence in the Craig films we have yet to see a really gruesome death --Fields and Greene I'm not counting since we didn't get to see their reaction and Carlos exploding in CR was just kind of funny, not something that stays with you. Hmm, maybe that's something they can work on for B23. :)

As for worst deaths, anything with dismemberment and mutilation/disfigurement tops the list for me. Off the top of my head I'd say Dr. No getting boiled alive, the various human-flavoured piranha/shark meals (YOLT/TSWLM), the henchman getting chopped to bits by the snow blower (OHMSS), Krest's head exploding, Dario being put through the grinder (LTK) and finally Carver getting, er, carved up (TND). With honourable mentions to Locque, Necros, Trevelyan and Graves :))

When I was younger, I couldn't understand why Kristatos' men continued working for him. Especially when he leaves one to a horrible death. A shark feeding frenzy. Such cruel disregard for his men affected me. I had a similiar reaction in Return of the Jedi when one of the Gamorrean guards accidentally shares Luke's fate falling into the pit of the Rancor creature. All his 'former' colleagues sure seemed to enjoy his predicament.

Stromberg cruelly dispatching his embezzling secretary in the trick elevator also worked it's malignant magic on me. I believe Karl would've felt right at home as a Roman senator in a circus maximus. A person dying for another's entertainment is the worst form of cruelty. Stromberg treated the entire affair as if he was playing light dinner music to help digestion.

Worst death: Milton Krest in LTK
Most ridiculous death: Kananga/Mr.Big in LALD
Impressive lack of guts and blood after the man blows like a balloon :o
