What do you feel was the corniest thing you've ever seen in a bond movie?

I personally feel that it was the cgi'd parasurfing in "dad" takes the cake for me!

Now your turn!

The stupid Joke Ending With M Thatcher in her Kitchen.
And I agree with Most Of the other posts.
The CGI in DAD was just Crap.

Sweepy, it's like you read my mind.

Add the Tarzan yell in Octopussy. And also Bond's SIT! to the tiger (ala Barbara Woodhouse) in Octopussy.

Actually this is a dangerous thread... Think about it too long and there are a hell of a lot of corny scenes coming to mind. I'm leaving this thread well alone!

As much as I love OHMSS and as wonderful as is Louis Armstrong's rendition of "We Have All the Time in the World," the sequence in the film in which the song is played has always made me cringe. Soft-focus photography as Bond and Tracy stroll on the beach and ride horses. . .yeesh! I expect to hear a voiceover from someone offering either feminine hygiene or male enhancement products!

Yeah, that is corny. Reminds me of the sort of footage to accompany a wooing Prince Charles and shy Di. :#

Ah, I know! The finale of The Living Daylights; all happy ever after with the Afghan rebel crashing the party with General Gogol there. And the final shot of a happy Leiter in his bed at the end of the next film is like something out of The Naked Gun.

That's actually one of my favourite moments from the film,* ironically enough! The song is beautiful, and IMRO the montage very effectively condenses a key part (albeit a brief one) of James Bond's life, thus setting up the tragic final scene of the film. I've never connected it with ladies' toiletries or mens' erectile issues, thankfully. It simply works for me...and in a series which includes slide whistles, double-taking pigeons, wheelie-poppin' big rigs and Tarzan yells, it doesn't even come close to making the cut for the subject of this thread!

    * Perhaps this belongs in the 'Confessions' thread? :D

I have to agree with Loeffs.
This particular scene is my favourite in OHMSS, probably my fav. in the entire series.

Au contraire to CR, we see the relationship between Bond and Tracy(Vesper) really developing and getting credible, brilliantly done, Peter Hunt.

On the other hand Hardyboys comments make me giggle. A very funny approach to that scene {[]
I wonder, if he has any confessions to make ;)
