If there's a female Bond villain (who's NOT a sidekick) in the next film do you think the title should be Property of a Lady?
"I admire your courage, Miss?..." "Trench, Sylvia Trench."

"I admire your luck, Mister?..." "Bond, James Bond."

That's probably the best potential use of that particular title that I can think of. I think it would be great if the next tier of Quantum's leadership (not necessarily the top!) was a woman who had some sort of hold or control over a major political figure in, say, the U.S. or U.K.---or both. In a sense, both of these political figures would then be considered The Property of a Lady...

By the way...we've already got a cracking good thread going on what should happen in Bond #23:

The Title Did Get A Name Check In OP,and In TWINE,There was Female Villan But As This Is A Re-boot Of The Series Why Not.
The Only Problem I have With It Is In CR Bond Falls In Love And Is Betrayed, In QOS He Gets Revenge Helped By a Woman Who Like Himself Is "Damaged Goods" So I Think For His Third Outting It Would Be Best Not To Saddle Him With Another Emotionialy Damaged Woman,With Bond Once Again Dealing With His Emotional Nightmares etc. But Rather Go a Little Lighter With Bond 23,and Have Bond Simply Sent Out On A Mission To Destroy Quantum.

I definitely don't think Bond should fall for this female Quantum leader---but he ought to shag her :007)

That's an awfully long title, TP! ?:)

I Feel A Tittle Should Lay The Ground Work For An Audience,And I Think With This I've Done It, Just Left Out A Couple Of Sex Sceens, A Car Chase, Big Fight And A Small Emotional Bit At The End To Show Our Heros Human Side. :007)

I think Property of a Lady should be the title of Bond 23 because it's about time the series had a female Bond villian. If Bond 23 had a female Bond villian there'd be no need for a Bond girl. Also a lighthearted Bond adventure be too much of a throwback to the Roger Moore era and who wants to see that?

Even Craig Said Himself He Wanted a Lighter Film Next Time, Not A Trilogy. Some people may want The Character To wallow In Misery,Not Me.
If People Want His Character To Be a Cold Hearted Killer In Every Film, With Gritty Realism, Then Watch The Bourne Movies. If you Want To See Bond Face A female Villan Watch. TWINE,And It Also Manages To Have A Bond Girl As Well.;) In Another Thread You Say You Like YOLT More Than FRWL ( YOLT Being a Fairly Light weight Connery Bond Movie and As Bad As Any Of Moores, While FRWL Is More Realistic and More In Keeping With Craigs Portrayal ?:))

^Well Sean Connery in all seven films had a way of dealing the humor without going over the top. If Daniel Craig is in a more lighthearted Bond adventure I fear he might go over the top like Roger Moore did.

D Craig Is Too Good An Actor To Go Over The Top With The One-Liners etc,Just Like Connery,Believe Me I Don't Want To See The Likes Of Jokes Everwhere In the Film, But To Lighten The Mood After Bond Has Done Something Brutal.
Property Of a Lady Is A Great Title But Far From Having A Romantic Intrest In Her I'd Love To See The Likes Of A Rosa Klebb Type.
The Early Bonds Had The Right Mix Of Humor And Excitment And CR Had The Same Feel To Me As The Early Films, The Line About How That Last Hand Nearly Killed Me, Was Perfecly Timed After The Excitment Of Bond Being Poisioned. {[]

I think they should get around to doing The Property of a Lady like they were when Dalton was going to do a third film. It also seems a good move to explore Craig's 007's obvious emotional involvement with women.
Also the producers and Craig have shown interest in filming in NYC, in which case the short-story title, 007 in New York, would be an apt (albeit awful) title for the film.

If they're going to make this a lighter movie, I think this will be a good idea as it will be refreshing to have one of these once in a while these days. Whilst I'm also a bit disappointed that this next film might come out in 2011, I'm trying to look on the bright side as this will give the crew a bit more time to see if they can improve this film a little bit more.

Anyone have a guess as to when the director will be announced? I am impatient for a steady stream of Bond 23 news and rumors.

I was also wondering if anyone else is concerned that Babs seems to be awfully interested in producing a wide range of films and plays. I wonder if her wide ranging interests will lead to longer and longer waits between films. Anyone think these other projects may lead to a delay in the release of Bond 23?

This post may be a little off topic but it seems as good a place as any to make the post.

What I think is a real tradgegy about 23 not coming out till 20011 is that 24 wont come out 2012 and thats the 50th anniversary of the bond movies. If they had 23 in 2010 they could then have 24 in 2012. A great oppurtunity missed imho.

They wont let the opprotunity go to complete waste. They will probably use the 50th anniversary to release the new box set of special-special edition bluray movies featuring never before seen features. 8-) And I will buy them. :#

A new movie would be better than a new boxed set, again I say what a missed oppurtunity.

Not IMO. We don't need another cut and paste Bond film to celebrate the 50th anniversary. Crank out some merchandise that's it, leave the films out.

Thats a long time until 23 comes out
I don't think we will know the title for some time
I notice that someone is selling Bond23.com on ebay - could be a good purchase with the film not out until 2011
