Batman Forever

Superman III

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

The Matrix: Revolutions

Lord of the Rings: Return of the King

RoboCop 3

Lethal Weapon 3

Spider-Man 3

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines

Die Hard with a Vengeance

The Godfather Part III

Goldfinger

Star Wars: Return of the Jedi

Back to the Future Part III

Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome

The Crow: Salvation

Star Trek III: The Search for Spock

X-Men: The Last Stand

I pick Goldfinger because out of these eighteen threequels I think Goldfinger is the best.

"I admire your luck, Mister?..." "Bond, James Bond."

This really isn't a Bond topic (even though Goldfinger is here), so to the Off-Topic forum it goes!

I love Goldfinger but don't look at it as a threequel. Of the movies you have listed, I've seen most, but not all. I'd have to pick Indiana Jones as my pick, with Die Hard a close second.

Not quite a fair topic jimmybond, as the Bond films hit their peak with Goldfinger in many ways, while the others on the list started great and faded... I agree with Mr Martini's picks.

Yep, make it a threequel for agreement after Martini and Plural. Indy and With a Vengeance.

Though I really enjoy the maligned Search for Spock and Jedi. Ewoks and no Kirstie Alley be darned! If it's a classic Kirk crew then I AM THERE.

Well technically Goldfinger is a threequel because it was the third Bond film but I suppose it could be looked at as a stand-alone film...considering it didn't make a reference to Doctor No. (Unlike From Russia with Love.)
