Was Stamper the Best Bodyguard.

In TND Stamper Throws himself across Carver During An action sceen with Bond.To my memory this is the first time i can remember a Henchman ( who i asume is also the villans bodyguard) doing his bodyguard duty,and protecting his employer.Apart from Heller in LTK who as head of security Pulls Sanchez behind a desk after Bond shoots at him.
I wonder if any members have noticed other moments like this.

Well, just because we don't see the bodyguard guarding the body doesn't make Stamper the best. As far as I'm concerned, Oddjob is still the man: knowing he can lop the head off a statue with his hat and crush a golf ball with his bare hands would keep most anyone from making a run at Goldfinger (I know, there's Tilly with her rifle, but, as Bond says, she's a lousy shot). Besides, when Goldfinger locks him in the Fort Knox vault with a nuclear bomb about to blow, Oddjob kills Kisch and tries to kill Bond in order to allow the plan to succeed. Now that's loyalty in an employee!

I see your point Hardyboy and I'm not saying Stamper was the best, just he's the only one i've noticed doing bodyguard stuff.

Stamper has a presence yes. And he makes me enjoy TND just that little bit more. But best Bodyguard goes to......Mr Kill!

Kidding. Id say that Onatopp was pretty good, she had a good presence. Oddjod really sets the tone for Bond henchman, but he doesnt do much for me.

I've always been fond of Tee-Hee and his advice on dealing with crocodiles.and like Oddjob showed great loyalty to his employer Trying to kill Bond after he had been made redundant.:)
