But as you say, FRWL is truly fantastic from beginning to end, so at least we agreed on something, right?
That said, dunno how few 'good' films the other Bond actors did in that case...

How can you tell if that throbbing headache is really a migraine ?
That said,I'm not a fan of You Only Live Twice(it's too much like a Flint film to suit my tastes) and I'm not too thrilled with Diamonds Are Forever, either. However,in fairness, every Bond actor(with the exception of one-timer George Lazenby who acquited himself well in a superb motion picture)has appeared in a few less than stellar Bond films.I seriously doubt that this will change in the 21st century-regardless of the various actors/directors/writers involved.
With due respect Superdaddy, why exactly are these reasons for disliking the rest of Sean Connery's Bond films?
Despite me thinking that FRWL is overrated, I think that SC's performance is his best. Its the most captivating and he looks interested in the role and being there, with GF following behind.

Superdaddy, it would be easier to understand your argument if you attempted a bit more conscientiousness and logic when you wrote your posts. If you wouldn't mind putting some periods in your posts, and add some substance as to why From Russia With Love is the only great Sean Connery Bond film based on the actual merits of the film itself, rather compared to your general sentiments about randomly chosen other films in the series.

Sean peaked with this one,and never to me seemed as fully engaged again. He certainly never had as fully a realised script to work with after FRWL. For me diminishing returns with the series start to set in from this point, and are only arrested with the arrival of the almost as good OHMSS
