Gun in Never Say Never Again

Hello all,

I was working on my data table of all the different weapons used by James Bond, his allies and his enemies when I remembered a gun from Never Say Never Again that I forgot to add.

The pistol in question is the one Bond uses at the firing range before Algernon/Q surprises him with the rocket firing pen. It looks like a Mauser HSc to me, however I welcome any information any here has before updateing my data table.

Thanks I thought it was a Mauser due the fact that unlike the Walther PPK the HSc has a shorter hammer and different barrel contour.

Notice the AK the guard forgets to put a magazine in? In the tower scene Bond hangs over the edge and pulls him out through the window. There is clearly no maqazine in his weapon - that scene always bugs me.

Yes I had heard that, according to www.imfdb.com it seems that forgetting load a magazine into a prop gun is a common movie mistake, just like firing more than six shots out a revolver without reloading.

    I'm sorry....
What am I reading here... a data table of weapons used by James Bond?
Makes me want to spell his name wrong.
Exactly how many weapons are there....

For just the firearms in Bond films, you need to go to:
