You may need to get your DVDs out for this. Was watching part of it last night - when Bond enters the Venice glass shop having just looked at the card filched from Drax's safe, the very first guy we see looks familiar. Wasnt' he Gunther in OHMSS? Or maybe was he in Thunderball?

?:) I don't think so Naps. I watched OHMSS last night at the BFI Imax and Gunther looks nothing like the guy in the scene you mentioned. "I'd like to know the name of your oculist."

POI, I watched "Avalanche Express" on the box the other day. It's not a great film, chiefly because Robert Shaw died before his overdubbing could be done and the director died half way through. With respect to Monte Hellman, he's no Martin Ritt. Anyway, I didn't see his face in the movie - frankly it's hard to see anyone's face as the photography is so poor - but I'm sure Yuri Borienko's name cropped up half way down the closing credits.
Must check that one out. Is he on Wikipedia?
