Thanks for the heads up....I've never bothered with these before as I have quite a few of the first editions, but I doubt I'll ever own a complete set of Fleming firsts and this could be the best way. I wonder what the likely final price will be ?

Have you not seen how much Casino Royale has been going for? I have seen it on eBay with worse condition go for £2500 on its own, let alone all the others, and in this condition.

But that is just my opinion of the price.

Hmmm, we shall see then ;)

This set of books is the best you can get short of the original first editions.

No Bond collection is complete without a top notch set of the Fleming thrillers!!!!

    ... I think I may be wrong.

Why is this not going to the price I expected, when I have seen worse condition CR's go for £2500?

You are aware these are only facsimile reprints of the Jonathan Cape First Editions, and not the originals themselves?

Oh, I see. Thank you :#

I guess they will be going for around £200 - £300 then

Hells Bells, if this was a collection of mint First Editions, then the price would go well beyond £100K. Never has such a collection arisen.

I've had three complaints from Ebayers that their bids were blocked within the last minute of the auction. Seems like it would have gone for about £750 otherwise X-(

That's seriously unfair to you, not to mention the bidders.

Can you start the auction over? Forgive me, but I don't know how these things work with Ebay.
