NEVER SAY GEORGE LAZENLY AGAIN

I THINK GEORGE LAZENLY WAS THE WORST JAMES BOND EVER ALTHOUGH I'VE NEVER SEEN ONE OF HIS MOVIES FROM WHAT I HEAR HE'S ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC.

No need to shout, pal, we can all hear you just fine Besides, I've never even said 'George Lazenly' once, let alone again! -{
My best advice for you would be to not let your opinions be shaped by others. You really ought to watch On Her Majesty's Secret Service, and make up your own mind. It's one of the classics of the series...but that's my opinion. Once you've seen it, feel free to disagree...
Meanwhile...welcome to AJB! :007)
"I am not an entrant in the Shakespeare Stakes." - Ian Fleming
"Screw 'em." - Daniel Craig, The Best James Bond EverTM
2. If you've never seen a Lazenby film--especially OHMSS--then your opinion is absolutely invalid. Watch OHMSS and then let's see what your opinion is.
Then turn 'Caps Lock' off on your keyboard.
"Better make that two."
Psssssssst. It's George Lazenby. Not Lazenly. Do us a favor, as others have said, watch the movie first then form your own opinion. If your a Bond fan you'll like OHMSS.

But on watching the film my opinion was very diffrent. Lazenby had a hell of a job to do replace a world wide icon and it was only his first film, talk about pressure.
His Bond is still one of my favourites he's cerntinly the right age for Bond and I love the way he walks with a swagger,a great mix of arrogance with vunerabilty. As I said take a look at the film then make a judement.
Look to the far left of your keyboard, follow the buttons down the left-hand side until you see one which has the infamous term, "Caps Lock" written across it. Be sure it is turned off, and that the neighbouring "Shift" key is made good use of for your next post.
Welcome to the forum.
Well I think your argument is absolutely pathetic.
How can you possibly judge the man when you haven't even seen any of his movies! ?:)
Watch OHMSS and then tell us all what you thought of his portrayal of Bond.
Well, you certainly made an impression with your first post...
I happen to disagree with you, but that's fine. Part of the fun on this board is disagreeing about Bond movies.
You see, there are even people here who like the Man with the Golden Gun...:(|)
Anyway, like I said, welcome to the board and as long as you keep off the capslock you'll be fine.
I also agree that you should have a look at OHMSS. But then again, if you ask me saying it's bad without having seen it falls into the same category as saying Sean Connery is a miserable sod without having met him.
I liked Lazenby. I think taking over from the original Bond was a tough act to follow and largely, he delivered. The film was fairly sound as well. I'm not bothered whether you like him or not, we all have our own opinions, but it would have been good if you had first seen the film. It might have opened up a bit of good critical debate.
Welcome aboard and I can't wait for your next post!

That said, I certainly think that JAMESBOND00071 should see OHMSS before passing judgement on it. Unlike certain films, for which you need only see the trailer, OHMSS is a complexed and multi-layered film which may even require a second viewing.
*The possible difference between politicians and Connery is that politicians' careers are often based on what they think, or at least in theory. Connery may not have made enough public statements about his views. A more realistic comparison would be a certain Australian actor/director who has been in the news recently and whom I probably wouldn't invite to dinner.
The only Bond I don't rate, is Woody Allen's Little Jimmy Bond. - But then, you aren't supposed to!
What's laungage? Sorry, but I'm not conversant in hick. Possibly, I think you may be on the wrong site. You see, you are arguing a pathetic point. You don't like an actor you have never seen (nor can even spell his name), in his portrayal of a character in a film you have never seen. It's not the best basis of a constructive argument, is it? Unless you are six years old (which, lets face it, your argument and spelling would suggest) then telling a member to "shut their trap" when their response was nothing but friendly, welcoming and open, then maybe you should find another site to express yourself on. James Bond Junior perhaps... or even Teletubbies.

Welcome to AJB JAMESBOND0071!
You have made my sunday evening, by far the funniest contribution in the last week here {[]
testing waters ?:)
does anybody know here the german term "Arschbombe"?
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
I know Bondtoys! It was funny to me too. Everything from the LAZENLY to the never seeing the film. And then when everyone was correcting him and yelling at him to stop the CAPS, I expected this contrite apology and he instead says "shut your trap". OMG, it made me laugh!! Have things gotten so dull around here, that I found that entertaining? )
Not that I'm encouraging posts like that! (resumes serious face) Bad.. bad spammers!
)
I take this as a great personal insult...
) Ja, doch!

I was laughing out so loud, that my wife came from the other level to ask, if I am alright {[] is there a proper english word for it? I could only find "Cannonball" but don't find it perfect.
For all others, here you find an "Arschbombe":

and I don't think, that "splashdiving" gets it. It should be splashdiving at the arse solely....
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
I know bellyflop from the good old Crash Bandicoot game
But bellyflop is with the belly, Arschbombe is with the reverse side
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
Sorry about that! {[]

I know, but since there's no literal equivalent I was going for colloquial- ich bin nur ein Gastarbeiter!
