Haines Body Guard

I have been looking on various websites but I can’t find the name of the actor who played Haines' body guard, the one who fell of the Tosca opera onto Greane’s car. The reason I am curious is because I am pretty sure that it is the same actor who played one of Renard's nuclear submarine pilots in the world is not enough.

Maybe it’s the same character, and he miraculously escaped the destruction of the sub, then was taken on by Quantum years down the line???? ;)

    Ulrich Thomsen?

No, he's the actor who played Davidov in TWINE.

The gentleman in question is Mr Derek Lea - he has also popped up a fair bit in British Television over the years, his IMDB page and own website links are below.

He isn't just a stuntman either, he does acting as well, so he will be able to fill slots other performers wouldn't as he does both types of work. I'm not surprised you didn't find him AK007 - for reasons beyond me,it looks like he wasn't credited for QofS!

    - I love casting quieries! :D

I felt he had something about him. Would have made a good MI6 agent/Double 0 for another time.

even if it was the same actor as Davidoff, it wouldn't be Davidoff because when DC became Bond, Re-kicked Bonds career as 007.
So basically he hasn't killed Davidoff yet.
