Have you guys noticed how thr first time we see SC in M's office , during the conversation M says as "as head of MI7", I though they were part of MI6. ?:)

Yes - played and re-played it to check I heard correctly. Perhaps they were worried about infringments or something. Certainly went over to MI6/SIS at some point. Interesting to find out when.

If you look closely, although the voice says seven, the mouth moves as a six.

On one of the Dr No dvds there is a black & white feature where the scene is shown prior to dubbing, where you can hear M say "six".

I believe that it comes about because during the 50s and 60s the British Government preffered to play down the fact that it had a Secret Service, commonly known (as it still is today) as MI6 - I assume that the producers decided to side with them.
