Just have to say that I'm quite disappointed that TB was eliminated so early. Yes, finishing seventh isn't so bad, but IMO it should have finished third (after GF and FRWL.) Plus, the fact that it finished below the two Craigs makes it even more annoying. Carry on...

It's possibly just a sign of incipient old age (that would be me I'm talking about, not Dan!)- having seen TB in the cinema in the 60s, for me it's right up there with GF and FRWL as the films that defined 007. Yes, it has its flaws- and they become more apparent after 100 viewings or so- but they're outweighed by its assets (list available on demand, but pretty predictable).

I have a similar soft spot in my heart for DAF---it was the first time I went to the cinema, without parents/grownups, and saw Bond on my own...no one's slagging will ever change that fundamental fact B-)
Now it's all tough for me. These all really mean something to me (in some cases, I've the scars to prove it ) ). But the 22nd-ranked on this list is still quite a lot of fun for me to watch ;%

I'm perfectly happy with QoS' ranking---it's 6th on my own personal list as well B-) ---wherever my personal list has gone!---and the remaining five are the top five in my list as well, which is pretty incredible. With all of Sir Roger's films below the top ten (though the order isn't right), I'm frankly about 80% satisfied with the way this will turn out

It's possibly just a sign of incipient old age (that would be me I'm talking about, not Dan!)- having seen TB in the cinema in the 60s, for me it's right up there with GF and FRWL as the films that defined 007. Yes, it has its flaws- and they become more apparent after 100 viewings or so- but they're outweighed by its assets (list available on demand, but pretty predictable).
