    Yes! You've got it.
  • I got one....
In "The Man With The Golden Gun", what did Scaramangas' gun consist of? :)

A Golden Cigarette Case, A Golden Fountain Pen, A Golden Cigarette Lighter, A Golden Cufflink, and A Golden Bullet:
The Man With The Golden Gun is now ready to assassinate James Bond!

Trick question? Father and son Pedro Armendariz Senior and Junior would appear to be the answer... ?

Actually, I thought they were the same actor but that is the correct answer.

Which Bond villain has also leant his voice to the Harry Potter film series.

Julian Glover (Kristatos in FYEO) voiced Aragog in The Chamber of Secrets.

    Now:

We all know that Christopher Lee (Scaramanga) and Britt Eklund (Mary Goodnight) appeared in TMWTGG, but which other cast member from "The Wicker Man" (1973) appeared in a Bond film?

It doesn't seem as if anyone else is going to get this, so I'll venture that the answer is Diane Cilento.

If Osato agrees that this is the right answer (Ms. Cilento- the then Mrs. Connery- doubled for swimming scenes in YOLT) then my question is-

What's the musical connection between CR67 and NSNA?
  • OsatoOsato Aberdeen, ScotlandPosts: 99MI6 Agent
Sorry to be SO slow to respond!!!!

Barbel, you're right about Diane Cilento!

The Musical connection is Herb Alpert, whose Tijuana Brass recorded the theme to CR 67 and who played a trumpet solo on the title song for NSNA, sung by his wife Lani Hall.

    Now:

Here's an easy one; who links Bond, Annie and Willy Wonka?
Green figs, yoghurt, coffee very black.

I think that would be the one and only Geoffrey Holder...?

Another easy one (hoping to speed this thread up somewhat)-

The funeral scene at the start of TWINE is set in Scotland. One other scene in a Bond film was set and shot in Scotland. Another scene in a different film was shot in Scotland but set elsewhere. The films and the scenes...?

Was it the scene in TSWLM when Q talks about "heat signature recognition" and later Bond walks with Gray (whom he calls Freddy, which always makes me chuckle)?

    The helicopter chase in FRWL.

The Cat posted this years ago, so I'm hoping most people don't remember...

Who was the first person to portray different characters in different EON films?

Would have to be Anthony Dawson, appearing first as Professor Dent in DN, then Blofeld in FRWL.

Not quite. Someone did it before that.

    Bob Simmons?
  • Sir Hillary BraySir Hillary Bray College of ArmsPosts: 2,174MI6 Agent
    Bob Simmons?

    Good guess, but no.

Here's a hint: This person was in more than two films, and usually played the same character except for this one instance of playing a different character.

Walter Gotell, first playing Morzeny, then Gen. Gogol?

Good guesses, guys -- but Tee Hee was actually closest with his Dawson answer. Remember, it's who did it first.

OMG- you don't mean.... Sean Connery? :o

(That was sneaky, but on reflection quite fair)

Indeed. As the hapless prey killed by Grant in the FRWL PTS, Connery was the first person to play multiple characters.

This is my all-time favorite Bond trivia question, and I must again thank The Cat, who first posted it here a number of years ago.

    Your turn again, Barbel...

    Straightforward one this time-

Two actors who appeared in Bond films were mentioned by name in Fleming's novels. Names, books, and films please!
  • hegottheboothegottheboot USAPosts: 327MI6 Agent
David Niven-On Her Majesty's Secret Service, You Only Live Twice-Casino Royale.
Ursula Andress-On Her Majesty's Secret Service-Dr. No, and Casino Royale.
