Well, here's my first post!
Craig is my favorite Bond of all time and it’s pretty safe to say he will always be, so I made a thread for him.
BTW, I equally love Both CR and QoS!
Movie: Both Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace
Bond girl: Vesper Lynd
Villain: Le Chiffre
Henchman: Mollaka or Mitchell
Ally: Mathis
Scene: “I never left.”
2 Fights: 1) Bond versus Obanno in the stairwell
2) Bond versus Slate
Director: Marc Forester
Title Song: Another Way To Die
Titles: Casino Royale
Pre-Titles Sequence: Casino Royale
Car: Aston Martin DBS
Chase (foot or car): Quantum of Solace PTS chase
Lines: either “Bond. James Bond.” or “I never left.” (Again.)
M scene: “Utter one more syllable and I’ll have you killed.”
Location: Sienna, Italy
Poster: the Casino Royale one where Bond is playing poker
Video game: Quantum of Solace, duh. But really, it’s the best Bond game since GoldenEye, possibly the best ever.
Sub Category: Quantum of Solace the game:
(This only applies if you played it)
My Platform: PS3
BTW, I've only played Single-Player
Favorite…
Single Player Level: Either ‘Casino Royale’ or ‘Venice’
Game fight: Either Bond versus Bliss or versus Obanno
Weapon: Either the LTK Super Magnum or the 8-CAT, or the TLD 22.
Also, here’s my YouTube QoS playlist:

And lastly, here’s an updated essay I wrote on Quantum of Solace, an excellent movie, for a different Bond site:
I was watching Quantum of Solace (my #2 movie) and it is such an awesome movie, second only to Casino Royale. It features another excellent performance by Craig, and the two Bond girls, Camille and agent Fields, portrayed by Olga Kurylenko and Gemma Arterton respectively, are also great. Also giving excellent performances are Judi Dench as M, Jeffery Wright as Felix Leiter (My favorite M and Leiter respectively), and Mathieu Amalric as Dominic Greene, a slimy and realistic villain.
I'll list the things that make it awesome, in chronological order:
- The PTS. It's the best Craig chase, and the best chase since who knows when. It's gritty and fast-paced, and I really love that when the black cars crash, they don't explode (!). I also love how Bond coolly dispatches the second black car's driver. Classic Bond.
- The chase after and fight with Mitchell. Right after the excellent Mr. White interrogation scene is this: One of the best foot chases in the series. The stunts are amazing, and though out the whole chase, I can only see one CGI effect. (And it's good CGI, unlike the Die Another Day CGI.) Once again, I love how Bond dispatches his adversary. Quickly as he can, he twists upwards and shoots a single shot. More classic Bond.
-The fight with Slate. This is one of the best fights in the entire series. It’s brutal and realistic, and very exciting. I love how Bond holds down Slate, who is currently bleeding to death, until he dies. It shows how Bond can be so cold-hearted.
-The opera scene. Great stuff as Bond tricks the members of Quantum into leaving, and proceeds to identify them. (Of course Mr. White is smart enough not to fall for that.) Then the great fight/chase through out the building, intercut with scenes of death during the opera.
-The fight between Bond and Greene. It's a brutal and realistic fight, and I love it. It shows a man terribly outmatched (Greene) and an experienced fighter (Bond) slugging it out. The fight between Camille and Medrano is also excellent.
-Best part? The ending. Bond finally meeting the man who caused Vesper to betray him is one of the most powerful moments in the series. Bond's dialog with M is classic and also powerful. The ending line "I never left." accompanied with Bond leaving Vesper's necklace in the snow with Vesper's theme playing, put together, equals the best ending in the entire series. It is so unexpected and moving. It is one of the best scenes ever, let alone endings.
Watch Quantum of Solace. It's fantastic. It is truly an example of what a perfect Bond movie should be, and an excellent follow-up to Casino Royale. (My #1.)
You know, I'll eventually have to create a 'Favorites of The Craig Era 2' when Bond 23 comes out... B-)

Bodyguard rates may be a bit more than you've alloted though. I spent ten years in the trade after leaving the army. Average UK low-level work in 2004 was about £150 a day. US work was about £200 - £300. A bit more for celebrity stuff. But then you're a goffer and chauffer and butt kisser. I saw £600 a day for six weeks in Angola and a similar amount for a week in Sommalia. Iraq was £500 a day for a three month stint and I got £400 a day in Afganistan escorting the BBC for two months. Best and worst was Chechnya. £5000 a week for six weeks consultancy and training. A bullet in my wrist and a shockwave concussion and perforated eardrum thrown in for free!
Down sides to the high rates were three or four weeks unpaid waiting for contracts to commence. Eleven weeks in one case.
