Mine as well. I was a kid when "Mork & Mindy" premiered.

For what it's worth, my favorite film of his was probably The World According to Garp. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. (And contrary to some critics, I thought it was an excellent adaptation of the John Irving novel, which I also loved.)

Very sorry to hear about Robin Williams, he entertained me both as a boy in movies like Mrs. Doubtfire, and Aladdin, and then as I got older my father shared with me some of his stand up comedy specials. He really knew how to make people laugh. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

It is indeed sad news about Robin Williams. His was a rare talent that could make You laugh and cry all within a matter of minutes. As many have said, he was popular for his work on Mork and Mindy as well as several movies like The World According To Garp and Dead Poets Society. I even enjoyed some of his "bombs" like his movie portrayal of Popeye and a little known comedy he did with another late, great legend Walter Matthau in the early 80s called The Survivors. What a funny movie that was lol. I know he had his problems with alcoholism and addiction throughout the years. May his soul find the peace that seemingly avoided him in this life. He will be missed.

Wow. I had completely forgotten about The Survivors. That was a pretty funny film, and actually in some ways even more relevant today.

Such terrible news. Wiiliams provided us with so much entertainment over the course of his brilliant career. Obviously he was plagued by many demons and I hope he is truly at peace now.

I believe it was Martin Grace who suffered the injury while hanging on the edge of the Octopussy train. Bickers replaced him after the injury.

Yes it was Martin Grace who was injured on OP during the train stunt, where he was hanging on the side of the train. He talks about this in the documentary Double 0 Stunts on the Man With the Golden Gun DVD/ Blu Ray.

Getting back to the tributes, I must say that I have a lot great memories of listening to Bob Hastings voice as Commissioner Gordon in Batman: The Animated Series. In fact the whole cast of that show did such a great job, every time I read a Batman comic book I hear the voices of the shows cast in my head.

As I said in my earlier post, I am very saddened to hear about Robin Williams death. He is one of my favorite entertainers, I loved him in Hook, Aladdin, Mrs. Doubtfire, Jumanji, The Bird Cage, and many others. His stand up routines on Golf and Methane powered Cars are hands down some of the funniest stuff I have heard in my life. RIP Mr. Williams
