Brunettes Have More (Bond) Fun...

This made the morning cable TV news this morning, and I haven't seen it covered here yet, so...

Ever vigilant in nailing down (so to speak) the latest intelligence on Agent 007, a team of academics, after due investigation of the first 20 James Bond films, has revealed that this particular gentlemen prefers brunettes :x

This from the Telegraph:

Hmm. Wonder how much money they spent to crack this riddle :s

Well, you can see why they restricted themselves to only the first 20 Bond films. If they had included CR a lot of their 'conclusions' would have been faulty... :D

    What a waste of time.

Do a study into something useful, or at least interesting.

BTW, can't think who Bond's "American Indian" love interest was!

Maybe they're counting Melissa Manchester, who sang "All Time High," as a Bond girl? Or was there a Native American woman at Piz Gloria? Gets me. . .

Nah, it's Ruby Bartlett, from Manchester ;)

I wonder what qualifications these "researchers" needed for the "extensive investigation"

    "Researchers?" Ha!

There, there, Pops...that was actually Barbel---another Quartermaster...you have a sitdown, here, next to the window, and I'll have the nurse fetch you a nice cool glass of water... :p

BTW, seeing this thread from June resurrected was something of a surprise :o Still, I think it's time for Bond's main girl (rather than a treacherous secondary) to be a blonde---was Kara Milovy the last?

Some argue that Rosalind Pike was a blonde, I never saw it myself, but I think Empire mag have her down as one. I don't mean in her Hitchcock Blonde play, but in DAD.

Rosamund Pike was blonde, certainly...but---as I said above---I mean Bond's primary girl. Miranda Frost was the secondary one in DAD...and a stealth evil henchwoman, besides :D

But it is worth noting that agent Fields was the first redhead Bond girl since DAF and the last time the "good" Bond girl was a blonde was in TLD. Bring on a blonde in in the next one!
