After the assassination of M, James Bond is sent out on a mission to seek out the Organization behind the assassination. The mission sends Bond to exotic locations around the world, including Australia.

I actually had a dream about this. ) I don't remember much except that the villain's scheme involved banking, and a Bond girl asked Bond to call her ('Call me') ; the last scene had Bond doing just that.

What about this .The Year 2011 .The villain has bribed the Iraqi president . The President attack the UAE as instructed so that the oil fields in UAE will be destroyed and the villians oil prices will sky high.?:)?:)?:)?:)?:)?:)

With MI6 gleaning significant leads from Yusef Kabira, the identities of some of Quantum's leadership revealed, and the foiling of Dominic Greene's project in South America, Quantum is spurred into direct action against MI6 and 007 in particular. Quantum's muscles are flexed.

An elaborate and powerful quadruple strike is launched against M and her personal staff, Yusef Kabira, MI6's records collated on Quantum, and James Bond himself. An Islamic terrorist cell is used both as a proxy force and cover for the Quantum strike force raiding the MI6 compound. While the disposable terrorist flunkies wear down security and distract the authorities, Quantum troopers in heavy gear sweep into the MI6 headquarters killing key personnel (M included) and destroying all physical evidence, while hackers based in a Quantum owned office complex nearby break into the MI6 computer grid to destroy the electronic files on Quantum.

Meanwhile Yusef Kabira, imprisoned onboard a Royal Navy Hunt-class boat, is silenced by his own people when the vessel he is on is destroyed by a submarine drone launched from a civilian cruise liner used by Quantum as their floating base of operations.

James Bond is in Afghanistan alongside a squad of SAS/SBS commandos, hunting down a terrorist figurehead. James Bond's team is then under attack from a small army of Taliban and Quantum soldiers; the Quantum forces have arrived in stealth helicopters and brought combat drones with them. 007's team is wiped out and Bond is captured by Quantum.

Where can we go from there?

The assassination of Judi's M would leave the door open for a new M (Patrick Stewart) and his secretary to make their debut appearance.

No more QUANTUM! It's dead to me already!

The only way I would like to see QUANTUM return is if we see that the mysterious leader decides that QUANTUM is a lost cause after the disasterous attempts of 'Le Chiffre' and 'Whats-his-face' from QoS and forms a new organisation bent on global domination, possibly called, umm, SPECTRE? I can't see this happening however so in my eyes QUANTUM should just be disregarded, at least for now.

Oh and no more Bond goes AWOL either! There's been enough of that since LTK in 1989!

I do however agree with some users on here and their idea of Judi Dench's 'M' being assasinated making way for a new 'M' and his seceratary.

Or better yet, cast a new Bond and have him wake up after the events of QoS to find that everything after Casino Royale was just a terrible nightmare... )

I personally would like to see Bond and co taking a back seat for the first say.. 30-45mins of the new film while they set the plot and let us get to know the new villians etc. Thats what made, for me, FRWL a great read. The way Fleming begin with such a big description and back story of the new characters, so when bond appeared we already liked all the characters involved. Perhaps portray MI6 as getting on with everyday life, perhaps show bond at home and a normal day at the office, while all this chaos is being plotted then it can come to a head midway through. Just a thought

*Carrying on my Bond plot*

While Bond is put under by drugs, sealed inside a coffin fitted with life-support machinery, and smuggled out of Afghanistan to a secret Quantum lair on the Chinese-Indian border, Tanner and Moneypenny survive the Quantum assault on MI6. Through luck, cunning, help from 00 agents, and amateurish violence, the two MI6 paper pushes exit the wrecked and burning building alive, with the surviving information on Quantum intact in the paper files they escaped with.

In the Quantum base (a former PLA depot with a bunker complex) James Bond is taken out of casket and revived by Qunatum scientists; in the sterile and modern infirmary-cum-torture chamber, a hundred meters below ground level, James Bond is confronted by the femme fetale leader of snatch squad, a bald man, and Mr. White! Mr. White has a simple proposition for Bond: do a dangerous mission for us in China, in exchange for a vast fortune and a high place in our hierarchy.
