Do you think Honey Rider gave Bond that scar?

We never get a good look at Bond's lower back in Dr No but I think it's conceivable that Honey gave him a scar, because in From Russia with Love they hint at jealous ex-girlfriend and Honey did get together with Bond at the end of the first film.

I always thought the scar was a reference to the literary Bond having a three inch scar on his face.

It's possible Honey knifed Bond in the back when he tried to slap her around! After all at the time both Bond and SC were into "tuning up" a girl when she didn't provide satisfaction!!!

It is plausible, but Bond could've gotten that from an enemy and just made a joke about it being from a woman.

It's definitely a joke. Witness another not knowing anything about guns in TB.

I wouldn't believe everything you hear from JB. Especially when a lady friend asks him about the past!
