Hope this is ok to post?
Pic of pic from offset of Casino Royale. It doesn't look like a Sunspel to me. Stripes on sleeves:s.

Yes that is the t-shirt that has yet to be identified.

Can anyone identify the belt too?

The belt/buckle appears to be your run-of-the-mill military web belt. You can see the "pin" on the bottom of the buckle:

Can't tell if the buckle is a brass or nickel plated one though.

I think the belt/buckle was used to holster Bond's gun in in Casino Royale.

I am picking up a black web belt with a distressed buckle for around $7. Brass or chrome is too shiny I think. I can post picture if interested later this week. let me know if anyone would like me to get one for them.

FYI, in case anyone hasn't seen this image, here's a pic of the costume card that shows the stripes on the sleeves of the Madagascar t-shirt.

    Kind regards,

I asked Magnoli about the shirt and he said that he did not have an intrest in making it. Says he attempted t-shirts in the past and did not like the quality for the price someone would have to pay for it.

You'd probably have to have a pretty high demand in order to convince Magnoli to do it. Making a bespoke tee is going to cost disproportionately more in the tailoring!

Came across this Costume Card while searching Ebay.....

Was the actual patterned shirt ever ID'd? Just curious. I have the magnoli replica, which I love.

Ah, finally. I saw a guy at my gym wearing this shirt - about 2 years after CR came out! He seemed to be in a bad mood and was very focused on his workout so I didn't ask him where he got his shirt from. The "777" logo on the back made me sure that I could find it easily with a web search. Of course, checking that resulted in a dead end - I thought maybe it was made by 777 Soul or some such company...

I must say that it looks great on an athletic person, like the guy at my gym (like Craig, he was very fit but not bodybuilder-ish). The cut is exactly what I like with the slight scoop neck, shorter, angled sleeves, and slim body. The material seems very thin and comfortable too. I've no illusions I'll ever find this shirt on ebay but Zara has had some very similar shirts in the past, although without the rings on the sleeves.

Finally, one of the great CR costume mysteries for me is solved.

It's a grey Diesel tshirt , not sure on the 777 thing but I'm 90% sure it's diesel. Combine the 2 in a search and something may come through. But baring in mind this was roughly 6 years ago , I doubt it'll be easy to get one even though Diesel is a fairly well know firm. But baring in mind Diesel tshirts tend to fit snug , getting hold of a similar tshirt by them , in grey with a round neck won't be hard.

Seeing the picture though , for it to be screen accurate as possible , the slight differences in neck design to other general grey tshirts may become a stumbling block to the perfectionist.

Here's a link to Zarsky's website , the tshirt in question is the 3rd row down , 4th (last) picture. This is the undershirt from the Madagascar chase sequence.

Why would he make that something that is barely seen on screen? (part from the neck which can be easily replicated by any well fitting low scoop shirt.)

The t-shirt is absolutely hideous and not something Cdr. Bond or any discerning gentleman would be seen dead wearing.

I understand that is nice to piece together articles used in the films but please don't wear this in public!

I rather like that undershirt. A gentleman should have compression or layering shirts in his wardrobe, and this one has a little flair, with the scoop neck complimenting the collared shirt. Not something you'd put on to go out in, but were you forced to take off your overshirt, this would show a bit more sophistication than your average "wick" base layer.

I doubt Magnoli or another custom could bring this in at a price I'd want to pay, but I'd happily wear it.

I've never been forced to take off my shirt to reveal my undershirt. There's no sophistication in showing any kind of undershirt. You could work out in a shirt like this, but it's hardly worth the effort to recreate.

Of course! But if you do have to, you don't want to be wearing a string vest. It's all in the details - I would apply that to all undergarments, naturally :))
