If only the films could be more like the books. Moonraker would have been better, so would Live and Let Die and even You Only Live Twice. Mr Fleming was a god and and Eon mucked them about too much. Probly going to get killed now for saying that by Eon's assassins. But I might live long enough to hear your opinons. What others would be so much better? Which villain they should have kept?:))

But all we can hope for, I think, is that Eon continues to attempt to capture the spirit of Fleming's work---they certainly did with CR, slightly less so with in QoS...but I personally see quite a bit of Fleming in Craig's Bond.
I'm with Golrush, re: YOLT...but what we'll probably get (someday) is a reinterpretation of some of that novel's story elements, which I think would make for an excellent film. The TSWLM, LALD, DAF and MR novels all have elements that are crying out to be used---and Craig's tenure is a perfect time to do them B-)
"I am not an entrant in the Shakespeare Stakes." - Ian Fleming
"Screw 'em." - Daniel Craig, The Best James Bond EverTM
~ Casino Royale, Ian Fleming
and there is nothing wrong with that .
Thing is I am not sure how the public would overall take to them. It might work but most people would probably tend to prefer the original movie series.
