I'm new to this forum, and I don't know if anyone else has noticed this , but in Goldfinger when Tilly Masterson tries to shoot Goldfinger and almost hits Bond, Odd Job Gives a smile and a knowing look which,to me tells the audience that he now thinks Bond has been shot! by Tilly, if you edit out this isolated shot of Odd Job then everything makes sense, but by leaving it in it implies a different point in the story! Could in a early draft of Goldfinger both sisters have worked for Goldfinger, and Tilly was sent to shoot Bond but misses, she then finds out about Goldfinger killing her sister and then later tries to kill Goldfinger?!!! let me know what you think....

There's no script change on record. Bear in mind that the film follows the book largely, and in the book Tilly M never worked for Goldfinger. Oddjob smiles because he's inscrutably Korean and also we're meant to think at that point, like Bond, that Tilly is firing at 007, possibly on GF's behalf. But in 'reality' I guess Oddjob is smiling because an assassination attempt on his boss has been botched.

It does send a "wink" to the audience...
I have also pondered on the shot in question for many years.
I always assumed Oddjob hears the gunshot and is curious as to what is occuring higher up the valley (shooting cats perhaps?)
Curiously, Goldfinger doesn't hear the gunfire... perhaps he really is deaf!!! and needs to face everyone to lip read them!!!
I agree however that there certainly were not any script changes
