What will come after Quantum (Risco perhaps)

I have read rumors of Ian Flemmings short story Risco to follow Quantum of Solace. What does everyone think of Risco as a follow up?

Also, if you aren't a fan of Casino and Quantum, I have read that in Risco, there will be a completley new style Bond! Now that there is no more revenge in the agents mind, the people behind the movies have said that Risco will truely show Dainel Craig's Bond ability! :007)

    Nice pic
    I must admitt I haven't read Risico
What's it about and would it make a decent film?

It's already made a decent film- about a third of the plot of the 1981 film FYEO is taken directly from it.

Yeah, I don't think we'll get another Columbo...more likely they'd just take the underlying theme of drug-smuggling---tie it into NYC (perhaps lifting an unused bit or two from the LALD novel)---and conjure up the rest out of whole cloth.

    I've no problem with the title, though (it really rolls off the tongue compared to Quantum of Solace :)) ), and the logo looks spot-on! B-) Pretty close to what Eon would do with it! -{

Great logo. {[] I hope that 'Risico' does get chosen as the title for the next Bond film. That or 'The Property of a Lady.'

The logo is exellent! But with the biohazard sign (the three circles) in the logo the movie should be about biological weapons.

Like Always, the Daniel Craig Bond movies have 007 in them:

    Casino
    Royale
    7

    Quantum
    of
    Solace
    7

    and the new:

    0
    Risco
    7

But with something like The Hilderbrand Rairity (which is the story after Risco) I wonder what they will do?

Dans 4 Bond asuming they use Risco for his 3rd could be Property of a lady so there would be no problems with 007 in that title

Then it would probably go something like this:

    Property
    of a Lady
    7

If you want to do the 007 logo then you need a title with 2 Os in it, like
Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.
I suppose you could do it with The PrOperty Of a Lady also.

I've been thinking recently about what could come next from Fleming material. Personally I would love to see a relatively faithful adaptation of You Only Live Twice. I think it is a fantastic story and could work very well on film if adapted properly. Maybe transplant Blofeld with Mr. White and keep the Shatterhand name.

I also think that Shatterhand is a good Bond title, although there is no O for the OO7 logo maybe something like this would work:

    0
    0
    SHAT7ERHAND

I think the Ts would have to be adapted to make them look more like 7s
1- On Her Majesty's Secret Service 2- Casino Royale 3- Licence To Kill 4- Goldeneye 5- From Russia With Love

Sounds pretty good to me, Shatterhand could be something to do with the villian's plot, or a disfigurement, of something to do with the henchman. Sounds good. :007)

You know what, change most of the stuff that would count as "copy write" and with enough of it different, you could write a novel on it. As long as it is different enough to the original YOLT. Or you could write a funsy script and put it on the internet as "007 Shatterhand -FAKE SCRIPT-" Just a thought.

I too just read on the internet that Daniel Craig told a fan that the new film will start to shoot next year. Thank God for another Bond film with Daniel Craig! {[]
I would ask you if you could remain emotionally detached. But I don't think that's your problem is it Bond?

    No

I agree too. I just hope they bring back John Cleese as Q.
