thanks, Lex he's a fairly new addition to our Halloween props. the trick or treaters seemed to take well to him, so we'll bring him back next year

Great stuff Pen. May I make a suggestion for next years set up? Put the guillotine on your doorstep. Have a real head in a basket and when trick or treaters come to get their treats, have the head let out a boo!!! or something. I've yet to be able to put on my Jason mask and Jumpsuit and sit on the front doorstep with a bowl of candy. When a trick or treater comes up, sit perfectly still, when they go for a candy cough a little or tell them to take only one candy, or even tell them your favorite candy. That should put a little scare into their Halloween. Or is it too mean?

haha I'll see if mother dear would allow that :P as to putting a real head in a basket, sadly our doorstep is full on concrete and since it's situated weirdly, it would be a bit awkward to just lay there til kids came by.

Well since the doorstep is out, how about some where in your yard? Maybe close to the walkway where it can be seen. A nice coffin nearby with a friend in it can be handy to.

Just south of me is a neighborhood that embraces Halloween. A local news station did a story on this neighborhood. I'll try to find the story and post it for you Pen. Maybe some inspiration can be found in the story. I'm off to find the story....cheers.

I'll see what I can do we do have a full sized wooden coffin...I want to see if I can run a small haunt out of my yard to earn a little extra cash before Christmas next year...

I've tried and tried to find the news story and have come up empty. I have a feeling since it was a report done during a love broadcast, it won't be on the channels website. I e-mailed the station asking for help finding the story a few days ago, and so far I've heard nothing. Sorry I couldn't find the story. I will keep trying though. Never know what I might stumble upon.
