It’s been a while since an IMDB list of Bond films was posted, so here is how all the Bond films currently rank on IMDB:

I’m not that surprised that CR is at the top, although I would have thought GF would have been. I expected TLD and OP to be higher, whilst I expected TMWTGG to be lower. As many will guess, I am not pleased that AVTAK is so low as usual. However, I’m glad that it beat DAD.

What does everyone think to this list?
Maybe some people can post lists from other film reviewing sites too, and we can compare?

Kind of related. Another forum I post on (not a James Bond board) just posted a poll of "Whats your favorite Bond movie?" Since the poll is limited to choices the choices given were:

Dr. No
On Her Majesties Secret Service
Goldfinger
Thunderball
You Only Live Twice
Live And Let Die
From Russia With Love
Goldeneye
Casino Royale
Other

As of right now Casino Royale has 21 votes and Goldfinger 24. Goldeneye has 19 and the other choices have no more than 5 votes. A couple have no votes. I guess people who are casual fans know what's good. There's no Dalton bashing either. A couple praise his performance.

What you notice is that apart from a couple of blips thanks to Martin Campbell (GE and CR) most of the films just don't do that well. Just one at no 8 (CR, which is overrated compared to the others) and hardly any in the 7s, most rate in the 6s. Though to be fair even the stinkers don't do worse than 6. You'd think there might be a few more 7s.

Yeah that's what I thought. A huge franchise like Bond, you would have thought there would be quite a few 7's at least.
Oh well, as you said, still none are lower than 6
