Im new to this forum so thought i would say hi and introduce myself....
In my early 40's now...eeek!!! And from Staffordshire in the UK..
Been a huge fan of Bond since a child, but never been a member of a forum before so looking forward to reading and enjoying all the posts on here
My favourite bond film is Thunderball and my favourite bond is Connery, however i have an eclectic taste when it comes to bond films which is heavily influenced by childhhood, growing up and playing bond..as well as family and friends. So it may be surprising that my other favourite bond films are The Man with the Golden Gun, Live and Let Die and Goldfinger..
Pleasure to be among other fans and hope to have some good chats x

Only recently got back into James bond as received the box set for Christmas and it bought back my childhood, memory of having the whole video set which made out the scene of all the bonds, and its fair to say i've fallen in love with the whole franchise all over again ive even started to purchase some of the corgi cars and some old Ian Fleming books looking to start back up the collection again.
Look forward to all the discussion.
Hello everyone. I've been browsing the forum for quite a few years but thought I better finally register! Lifelong Bond fan and relatively new collector of clothing etc. so I thought that I would get the full benefit of this wonderful community. -{

Hello and welcome HildebrandRarity. Have you read the short novel (hence your name) and what were your impressions?
I thought it was very good (but I like anything to do with scuba diving) and was happy to see parts of it integrated in the Licence to Kill film.

Yes I have, I really enjoyed the short stories as they were something a little different to the full length novels and I think they provide more depth to Bond's character. I also enjoyed the nod towards the title in Spectre.
Scuba diving is something I'd love to do at some point. A very Bond-esque hobby, isn't it? I suppose I really just need to make a point of organising it!
