We have returned to a rain sodden Mactan Island. The roads are all flooded and we have had an amazing electrical storm for a few hours - the lightning has been spectacular.
Our trip to the UK was lovely and also sad - seeing old friends and relatives is always nice - losing a close friend was terrible but I did get to see him before he passed away and was able to attend the funeral.
We did a bit of touring in Southern England visiting Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge and staying on the coast at the rather wonderful Chewton Glen Hotel. London was great also and the Haymarket Hotel was it's usual splendid self.
Catching up on all the latest posts here and I see that Stag is banned I obviously don't know what has happened but I like Stag and hope there is some way back onto these boards for him.

Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
I have recently registered after not being able to for a couple of weeks but thanks to a member here and the superb admin, the registration was fixed and I was able to join. I'm been on here many times as a guest and thought it was high time to get stuck in to the community.
I've practically grown up with Bond and can't remember a Christmas gone by where I didn't watch a Bond film before I became a big fan in my 20's. I make my living as a Director of Photography. The Cinematography of the Bond films, especially the more recent ones is what really stands out for me and why I love them so much.

Those political discussions can get really heated. I too hope that he can find a way back onto this forum, as it's a shame when this happens.
Have you ever heard of the Emancipation Proclamation?"
Hey Guys,
Haven't posted on here since May. Been so busy at University. But I'm going to make an effort to be on here more often.
For me, AJB is one of those sites where consistency seems to reign, even when everything else changes. I trust TP is still behind his bar serving drinks and Higgins is still wearing his green trainers. -{

Thanks to the others who pointed me to this thread, I'll say hello to everyone. Hopefully we'll have some nice discussions, this is definitely one of, if not the, best Bond forum.

" I don't listen to hip hop!"
Seeing Moonraker at Christmas, somewhere in the early 80's. That was my first experience of Bond! I would have been 8-9 years old.
