Hello AJB'ers... I've been trying to unsuccessfully join here for years, but the emails never arrived But thankfully the issues have been resolved, so I can finally say hello -{ So, up till now I've only been able to lurk and read, which was very frustrating when Skyfall and than SPECTRE were released, and I wanted to join in the fun.
Like many I've loved Bond since I was a lad (way too many years ago) and I have been taking great pleasure in introducing my eldest son to the films over the past couple of years (plus, he's also reading the Young Bond books) which a great excuse to watch them yet again... not that I need one
I must admit its the Craig years that have re-invigorated my interest and turned it into more of a passion... I loved the direction it took with CR and wait with great interest where we are going to be taken next, and by whom.
Cheers all -{

HI Gang ,im still about ,sorry I havnt been on air for a while ,but we have had such great weather here on the Costa del London ,that ive spent a lot of time out side in the garden till late ,drinking my way round various vineyards and smoking my way round various tobacco plantations ,also my PC is still a piece of dog pooh and takes longer to start than a British Leyland car ) ,I will have to take it back to my aunty Jims chip shop to be repaired by the bloke who batters the fish
Thanks TP ,the PC seems ok now , Sid the head fish fryer down at the chippy ,seems to have solved the problem .
I have been still searching for Bond items ,and have recently purchased a pair of Orlebar Brown bulldog shorts for my up coming holiday to the Canaries ,pictures to follow .My new BMW X3 M sport has had a good use due to the fabulous summer we have had .
We took it to Camber Sands the week before those poor lads all drowned , So now the sun has gone ,my grapes are harvested and the nights are darker ,I will be back on air (who said oh crap)
Hi all,
I made my first posts in a Tom Ford thread but, after more browsing, made my way over here to introduce myself more formally. Bond fanatic and clothes horse in general with an emphasis on jackets (to the everlasting exasperation of my wife).
Been a lurker for a long while but finally signed up. Very glad to be here and continue to learn and hopefully also contribute in some small way.
Will be leaving these shores tomorrow for a vacation in Florida. Long, long flight, first leg to Hong Kong onto Los Angeles and then Florida. Looking forward to seeing the little one's face as he meets Mickey and co. See you all in 18 days though I will have my laptop so might sneak a look on here some evenings.
Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.

Greetings to all,
I guess I should have posted here first.
Oddly I never thought of myself as a dedicated fan of 007, although I’ve read all of the Fleming stories and seen all of the films. In fact I had pretty much given up on the James Bond genre, until the girlfriend of a friend insisted that we all watch the Daniel Craig collection (Spectre wasn’t in theaters yet) in preparation for seeing SP, his last. I saw in the reading that someone here had mentioned Stuart’s Cove where the frame for the Vindicator from TB rests in about 50 feet of water, and I confess to having done a night dive on that site many years ago. In thinking back I once had the entire Fleming, Bond collection in hardback, though have now given most of the copies away. It was an article on the James Bond Rolex that brought me to this site. As I mentioned in my other post, I enjoyed the Craig series, but hope he’ll go on to do other things as an actor, perhaps a Shakespeare tragedy as Fiennes has done.
Many Thanks for the site, I may be more of a fan than I thought.
Hey guys,

Indeed! Two new jackets already (only one Bond-related but close enough) and a cardigan!
Yes. Yes I did.
Thank you from a fellow LFC man! YNWA.
