If you folks have been waiting for the return of a 62 year old man to inject some gratuitous sex into the proceedings, you're in pretty bad shape! But okay!

Sean Connery, once again rated Sexiest Man at age 86- a title he's been winning frequently for some 30 years:

    Welcome back BL!!

I myself after many months of insanity, I am hoping to be around here a little more again. In the fall of last year I got married and planned the entire thing -- quite a stressful undertaking! After that we went on a month long honeymoon to Europe with some time spent in the UK and I was able to drag the hubby around and do as many Bond related things as possible :)) I'm glad he was a good sport about it too.

But I'm glad to be done with all that and finally getting back to a normal schedule and some more time to lurk around here.

Hi everybody. I have enjoyed reading threads here and so decided to join.

I grew up with Roger Moore's Bond and always claimed him as my favorite Bond. I didn't really see Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan's Bonds, but watched Daniel Craig in Casino Royale and was blown away. I love all four Craig movies and am looking forward to 25.

    Dear friends,
I have been away from the AJB site. I am studying hard to learn the correct use of written English. When I feel I have progressed enough to be able to fully understand what is being said, I will rejoin the discussions.
I am not ashamed to say I have been studying many books which children use to advance their reading and writing. I am a fast learner and am determined to master this skill.

    Thank you all.

    Joshua.

    Hello Joshua,

good to hearing from you - and there is no need to stay away from AJB for that reason.

Your english is better than mine and if you understand something incorrectly, we're happy to let you know.

    Kind regards

    Higgins

Yes welcome back Joshua, you're English is fine, I think maybe it's important to remember that it's very rare for members to be offensive to each other in a serious context. I think by joining in you'll soon pick up the nuances of English such as sarcasm very quickly.
It was either that.....or the priesthood

Joshua - don't stand on ceremony dear boy I am sure your English is better than my attempt at your native tongue.
As for sarcasm I cannot even spell it (borrowed from Chris) so if you don't understand it well don't worry about it!
If all else fails do what we Brits do when people do not understand our English you just shout LOUDER! :D

    Cheers :007)

Don't worry about it. Higgins is an idiot who can hardly communicate at all in his own language, and we forgive him his misunderstandings and even ignorance (he has a lot of ignorance). So stay and learn as you go along.

I often quietly correct grammatical errors in posts by those for whom English isn't their first language (and sometimes for those for whom it is :) ) which has happily gone unnoticed. I'd be happy to give some help to you, Joshua, if you like.

Is that why Higgins has some of the best-written posts on here? :p Plenty native English speakers on here appear to have worse grammar.

Not many speak English as good as what I does, sometimes sure mine could be done gooder ;)
I have always simply read others posts, I couldn't care less about spelling, grammar etc. So long
As I can understand the point or opinions being expressed I'm happy..

I make far too many mistakes myself to point out the little mistakes of others. :D

Only those in the EU will have to learn German, SM. :p

I took French in school (waiting for TP jokes...) and was quite good- got my Higher (= A level). If I had known then that I'd be marrying a German lady I'd obviously have studied that language instead! I can speak it fairly well but writing it down is more difficult for me.
