    Hi to everybody,

long time reader, I already was a member here some time ago. Decided to give it a fresh start with a new account. I was a silent reader to this day, so basically „I never left“.

Looking forward to discuss all things Bond with you (again)... :))

    Walker
welcome and I love your profile name! Fallout has certainly made an impact.

Shame he didn't have it for the opening scene in Justice league to hide that cgi mouth.

I guess that I'll be the one slightly dissenting voice then and say that I rather liked osris. I remember he had some interesting threads back in the day here that I enjoyed contributing to. Likewise he contributed to some of my threads. Sadly, however, his latest threads were rather divisive in nature and I didn't get involved in them or have any chance to until they were understandably closed.

It seems odd (though not unprecedented) that he requested the ban but I suppose he wasn't enjoying his time here any more after his latest raft of rather controversial threads. He was probably trying to save face by avoiding a ban being imposed on him. Sorry to see him go, but I understand the reasons for why it was sadly becoming inevitable.

Sir "hatchet jack" Miles has a certain ring to it! I can just hear the conversation
    (phone rings)
    SM : "talk"
Barbel: "we've got a problem, Osiris is creating post after post that's causing some concern on the forums"
    SM: "and?"
Barbel: "Number 24 has tried to talk him down but he's not budging"
SM: "do you want to send a message or do want a clean kill?"
Barbel: "I don't care what you do, just get rid of him and Mcfecking well do it quick"
SM: "is that stress in your voice?, keep your kilt on I'm on it like a car bonnet"
Barbel : "thank Mcfeck for that, I'll see you at AJB hq for the weekly mods meeting, we need to upgrade the profanity filter!"
    (phone goes dead)

Oh and ta ta Osiris, remember, they are watching, they are listening and they are everywhere.

To be fair, Barbel did give warnings and his posts were becoming more hysterical and outlandish. I sometimes think posts are a reflection on someone's mindset even subconsciously.

Oh, certainly. I don't mean to criticise what the mods did. They handled the situation very well, as is usual. I just wanted to put on the record that I feel he had some good threads too some years ago that I enjoyed contributing to. His latest batch of threads were rather ill-advised however.

I've never been a big believer in conspiracy theories concerning British Intelligence. I feel that a lot of the theories surrounding the Skripal case for instance are nothing more than Russian state diversionary propaganda. I know who I trust more out of Britain and Russia and it isn't the Ruskies!

Yes, I saw that comment of yours, TP. I agree that would have perhaps been the more natural home for that type of conspiracy theory thing.

In any event osris had, for whatever reason, returned here with a desire to add a hitherto absent political and conspiracy theory edge to all of his new posts and topics and that could only be tolerated for so long.

I too think the Mods handled the matter correctly. Like Silhuette Man I have good memories of Osris from back in the day, but it's obvious he has lost himself in conspiracy theories. I thought this was a good and rare opportunity when he could talk to people who question those conspiracy theories and help him see sense - "talk him down" if you will. Obviously it didn't work. It saddens me when I imagine Osris going back to the conspiracy forums where his outlandish views will not be challanged, but strengthened instead.

Personally i think the poor guy has had some wiring come loose.

From his posts I got the impression that he wasn't quite with it and I honestly hope he gets some assistance. He seemed to either ignore or be oblivious to people's suggestions that he tone it down, but we've been here before with the guy and it ended the same way.

It's not a good place to be, hopefully he'll find his way back to reality soon.

Been a month since my last post. Been inactive on here, as i haven't been watching any of the films, lately. I'll try and post in the off topic section. Made 3 posts today. When i've seen a film, i'll be more active.

I too can not have much time to visit the AJB site. In fact I have not much time for things as work is always the priority. I have not even had time to look at AJB! I am glad that I have audio books which I can listen to on my way to and from work. I think these are good for people who have no time to spare to watch the films.

    Well...it's been a while.
    Remember me?
I'm quite busy with school and stuff and I never really have much free time anymore. I'm dealing with some personal issues aswell; becoming happier and finding something to live for...
"I'll be back" soon, I've not forgotten about Bond...don't worry. I just need a bit more time.

Hi guys ,I'm back from Cornwall now , lousy weather, storms , no wifi no mobile connections and no TV for a day due to bad weather , But being a true Boy nd fan , made our way from Doc Martin land to St Austel , to spend a day at the fabulous Eden project .We went to the tropical zone first ( it the 3 on the left) totally amazing ,everything from bananas ,coffee, cola, cocoa , you name it ,they had it . So plucked up courage to ask this pretty girl (staff member) about Die another day , she knew every thing even the fake rock they left behind , so please enjoy my Eden/DAD pictures ,and if you are ever in Cornwall , go there

Hi folks, I'm back after touring France (with one stop in Germany) for the last several days. Had a great time especially posing with the Bride under a mango tree in Leipzig.
We were overtaken around Birmingham by a blue car with the great registration number "X007 SPY"- I don't suppose that was anyone here?
