any info on this one ? sent by a friend who is also collecting 007 tagged clothes .
60s ? 70s ? 80s ?
I have seen this on Ebay, its very good BUT imo its a fake. Its almost too good. When would they have made it and what for? certainly not in 1962. The T shirt itself does not have a vintage look and if it were not for the superb looking label then it would look brand new.
Its a toughy but until proved wrong I just cannot see this, try and find any printed T's from the 1960's they just were not made.

OK, as promised....Thought I would show off some vintage clothes and prototype clothing from a Bond.James Bond line...shirt and two pairs of glasses...

It is quite at odds with say this website and others where people now actively look for clothes to dress like 007. The major difference is they are looking for the same items "as worn by" opposed to say a garment with "James Bond" sewed into the label.
I have a collection of 007 socks but for some reason no underwear, I would have thought that "secret pants" would have sold like a million pairs!
regards
my theory is that JB did not wear underpants, no time to waste when he met his female partners, a quickie and time to go again , being continental and also spending a fair amount of time with my french neighbours, they have this rumour going around that english men do not take their socks off while having sex ... this could be the answer to the problem ) ) )
Jockey made some Boxers in the late 80s, to tie in with either TLD or LTK, can't recall which at the moment - have two pairs in my collection (one to wash, one to wear).
Also have a pack of briefs but don't recall a brand name - from the 90s or early 00s.
You are so correct.I can not remember in which 007 movie made in the early seventies JB is seem getting dressed, and he just pulls his slacks on, without underpants.
At that time ,it was considered by many ,that it was 'manly' not to wear underpants!
