went to the bar again. it's becoming the regular spot for my group. great place under the historic Hotel Boulderado called Catacombs.
started the night with two pints of Murphy's stout, and followed it with a Long Island Ice Tea and a Tequila shot. Then we went to another bar and had a shot called a "Purple Hooter" what tasted like a blue raspberry dum dum.
tonight, I had a double gin and tonic ($1 Wells!!!) at Catacombs and a pint of Guinness at an authentic Irish pub called Connor O'Neil's. everything in it was shipped from a pub in Ireland.
Some Pinot noir and a couple of Mike's Hard Cranberry.
Don't judge on the lightness factor. I'm fasting on much alcohol since my buddy's 21st is coming up (finally...he's the youngest of my group) and we are taking him barhopping til he can't walk no more :P which won't take long, admittedly. Ian is such a light weight :P
Bondtoys, I thought of you today when I passed a truck that was delivering Kolsch...remember the guy at the restaurant in Denver who was trying to convince you it was beer?
Oh! never thought about writing it here! PROTEIN VANILLA GNC shake! Tastes like crap though. I wish there would be a blender or a smoothie bar at the gym or something. This new gym sucks.
If you can't trust a Swiss banker, what's the world come to?
Guys, you have to try this. I've been looking to see if it has a name but so far I don't think it does.
Take a whole lime, cut in to quarters. Throw them all into a highball glass and mash out all the juice. Fill the glass with crushed ice and then add a double measure of Malibu white rum. Top up with soda water, stir and enjoy.

As refreshing and as drinkable as the Mojito.
That sounds brilliant. I'll for sure get it made sometime!! Thanks for sharing it!
Not a cider drinker usually (an unfortunate incident in the early '80's put paid to that) but i have just discovered this and i'm really enjoying it !!!

I love my chocolate milk. You know, I have never had a martini? One of these days I'm going to have one.

Speaking of milk, that's what I'm drinking right now. A nice tall glass of 2% milk with some oreo's. Had the same thing last night to. Might drink some beer tomorrow night. I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.
Some people would complain even if you hang them with a new rope

Oreos and milk... Haven't done that in a long time, but it does bring back fond memories.
Reflections in a double bourbon...
