Just got back from a trip to Luxembourg. After a week of excellent beers and cremant, I had to have something more robust; a Makers Mark and a Talisker 10yo both enjoyed straight up.

My neighbour decided to pour a kettle full of boiling water over her arm this morning...(accident obviously) so I spent the majority of today at A&E..as well as at a burns unit....so a glass (or two) of wine was needed tonight!

Last nights beverage of choice was Milk (with Oreo's of course). So tonight I decided to have...........Milk (with Oreo's of course). Trying to stop drinking so much beer. So far......so good. Guess what I'm having to drink tomorrow night.........
Some people would complain even if you hang them with a new rope
And because it was only 1-0 I'm drinking bourbon on the rocks (doubles) now and reflecting on the Finlands chances on winning the world championship again.....

I have gotten over our national teams dismal failure in the ice hockey wc 2012 tournament.
Now I have turned my interest over to the Sucker ..... wait a minute that's not quite right ..... oh yes it's Soccer EC tournament. Since Finland has no team in the tournament (nowhere even near the tournament, I wonder if we could send our national team to the special olympics, we might finish 12th....) I'm rooting for the Dutch.
Well anyways back to the topic at hand: right now I'm drinking bourbon and branch.
Have a better one

My cousin's 18th. Started with white wine, moved onto Cava, before my uncle got out the real champagne. Drank a bottle of the stuff. They are a very generous side of the family
Drank 3 mugs of tea with a couple of my mates last night whilst watching the darts. Granted it's hardly the rock & roll lifestyle, but a necessary move as one of them had just got out of hospital following a heart attack (he's only 35 too ).
Right now, on my second vodka martini. Recovering from a sh1tty week. You know we used to have a saying in finance:"Life can't be just dancing on the roses; you gotta have vine and song as well." Well, there ain't been too many roses about lately, and the vine and especially song have also been pretty scarce.... You all have a good week end, this boy is gonna get hammered!

There's nothing like a good brew!
Too much fry-up and visits to the chipshop, is it? What happened to the Jamie Olivers food revolution? I hope your mate recovers and can start enjoying sensations fortes again soon.
