I drank far too much...even for me! I went to my fav bar up town for my friends 21st. Not a good idea to drink that much on a empty stomach! But it was a good evening and I scored.

I'm glad you enjoyed your game of football.

That made me laugh! Not that type of score!

Oh well, everyone is drinking tonight in honor of DCs birthday and I have to be up at 5am. Maybe a belated birthday martini is in order.

A bottle of Carlsberg. Here is Melbourne (Australia) it was a hot autumn night, and this went down nicely.
And I don't like to think about John Venables (or whatever his name is now). As a father it really makes me sad to hear what they did to that poor little boy. I find it strange that he's back in jail, wasn't he meant to be in the care of a minder for the rest of his life?

I had a mount gay rum and coke which was possibly the best rum and coke I've ever tasted, perhaps because our bartender was a little heavy handed compared to others who have made it for me.

My second drink was a beautifully made gin martini made with Ransom Old Tom Gin from Oregon, its only $35 and tastes amazingly aromatic. http://www.drinkupny.com/Ransom_Old_Tom_Gin_p/s0993.htm?utm_source=Vinquire&utm_medium=WineFeed&utm_content=Ransom+Old+Tom+Gin&utm_campaign=base&v_traceback=c0305_2236_f0306_0158

Had a pernod poured over a sugar cube with a splash of water. It was quite refreshing. Too bad all the drunk basketball fans kept making dumb comments while the bartender made it.

Celebrated the so called "little saturday" last night with a couple of Heinekens.

Tomorrow I'm off to Helsinki Wine and Spirits Trade days with a client, so I am looking forward to some serious drinking of some serious wines and spirits :007)
