last night..what didn't we drink? had some more skittle vodka, Ouzo and some apple Pucker mixed with water...a last hurrah before Ian's parents and little bro get home from their month in Italy...a good night indeed.

Thanks Pen, that could make for a great girlie night in.... -{
lol you're quite welcome. we've done green (delicious) and are trying red next because another friend decreed it so. I do so love adventures in mixology

nah. we just chucked ALL the greens in and let it sit overnight. no chilling or anything. it turned out UBER sweet, but we're not complaining lol. plus, we had plenty of other things to "taste" :P
yeesh. no one here seems to be going out drinking lately...hence the double post from me.
my buddy Ray got back into town on tuesday after SIX MONTHS of being a world traveler. needless to say, a bunch of us went out, and being the only two old enough in the group, Ray and I got drinks. He had some shmancy kind of Whiskey (got addicted in Scotland lol) and I had a VESPER. my first ever. delicious. Also, neither of us got carded...a new experience.
that's Ray's hand in the background. just in case anyone was curious 8-)
Had a friend round, and we started on the Absolute Mango Vodka - my, my, does that go down well - mixed with orange juice - you really don't realise just how potent they are, until you go for a refil )
Then it was wine..... more wine, and ah, er, more wine )

Right now: I'm enjoying some 15yo. Glenfiddich mmmmmmmm. T-A-S-T-Y!
We had a night out with some customers last friday, first we went to see Cyrano de Bergerac at a local theatre and the we hit the city's nigh spots with vigour!
As far as I can remember I had: Louis Massing Brut Réserve (few glasses), local beer (a number of pints), Angostura 1824 (2), Jägermeister (1), Leffe Brune(1), Hoegaarden(1), Smokehead(1), Mojitos(?), Negroni (1) and a Peroni Nastro Azzurro when I finally reached the safety of home.
Next friday it's the Mid Summer here in Finland so it is going to get serious, very serious on the drinking department....

A couple pints of a fine Industrial Pale Ale last night with the wife. All enjoyed with some fantastic conversation. We will surely miss the brews in the Phoenix area. Houston is bankrupt when it comes to good brew pubs.
Well I had a few beers last night - more than normal, and I got quite giggly - it was accompanied by good food, and great company..... a fantastic evening was had -{

Well nothing beats a good Vesper either - but alas I'm all out of Vodka (hate it when that happens ) So I'm having to do with a Strongbow cider.... Cheers Loeff -{ (by the way is it your birthday?)

I made a Gin Martini and danced with my girlfriend to a vinyl record I bought: The Incredible World of James Bond, which features covers of the music from the first three Bond films.
The most gluggable rosé I've found this year is Black Tower. It's around a fiver
from Tesco, though you can get small (= a large glass of wine) bottles for
around £1.80. It's brill.
A few pints of velvety hops thanks to the SanTan Growler full of HopShock IPA I had. Good stuff, and well enjoyed on a hot summers day in Arizona while lounging in the pool with my wife.

Don't feel bad. I had Milk. I needed something to wash the Oreos down with and beer just didn't seem like the right choice.

Glenfiddich 15YO, on the rocks and I know it's a blasphemy, but it's so bloody hot! (not that I'm complaining).
