That is a good price Chris! I sold mine to Harris Thomas a long time back, but would love to grab them again as they are a great pair of Bond sunglasses. If I was in a less transitionary period, I would grab those in a second. But, also saving to ensure I can jump back in on the TF QoS polo, Damn Irma!

Medium Menlo on eBay. It was listed for $975 obo yesterday. I was trying to liquidate as much as possible to make an offer. But it was just relisted for $1400 obo. I'll take it off my WTB list for that price. Althogh, I'm sure it's worth a pretty penny. Maybe one of you can grab it instead.
I realize the price is high, but I love this coat and simply could not part with it for less. The pure wool version is beautiful; it is much softer (and, in my opinion, better made) than the wool/nylon blend (I have owned both).

Ha! Funny their front picture is of my jacket from my Iconic Alternatives review. However, they are selling a V1 or V2 jacket, and not my V3. Additionally, their size chart on the end may not be correct, depending on which version they have. I would recommend anyone interested in purchasing this jacket to request measurements directly from the jacket from the seller first. As you mention, the price is understandable now that these jackets are rare, especially if it's a SA V1.

It was a G4 type jacket. Price had dropped to $884 (from $1500 original asking price) and seller withdrew the listing so the link won't work anymore. I don't know if it sold or was just withdrawn. I was about to email for dimensions to see if it was large enough for me when the listing was taken down.
It had the leather inside the collar and around the pocket but had a straight seam along the back shoulder rather than the umbrella vents like the navy version from around 2009/10. The shell was 100% cotton rather than the cotton/silk of your older brown retail version or Paul's navy one.
I only have a saved hi-res picture of the back of the jacket from the listing before it was removed. You can make out the back shoulder seam, leather color, and cuff and adjuster details.
