    None of the chips where destroyed after filming, all chips where accounted for and returned to the archive, the only way to get these are if you are very lucky and gifted them, or win them in a charity auction that EON have listed, any other way and they would be classed as stolen -{

    i just email him on ebay saying i was very interested in buying and wondered how he got hold of them. He sent me this

    "Hello and thank you for your interest, all I can say is that a friend of
    mine worked on Skyfall and managed to get a set of these before they got
    gathered up and taken away to be destroyed, that is why you haven't seen
    these before and he wanted to wait before bringing them to market. there
    have been a handful of the small round chips sold on ebay that some extras
    pocketed as souvenirs. But this is the full denomination set. I tried to
    attach a photo of my friend on the set at pinewood studios but there seems
    to be something wrong with the attachment button, if you send me your email
    I will send it to you, he has asked to remain anonymous. regards "

    -xclusivemerchant

    I will send him my email and get him to send me said photo

    One photo of a guy in a white dinner jacket ? Still not convinced. While on the subject of EBay, dose anyone know what the score is with the seller UKREENACTORS2003. This guy has a hell of a lot of Bond documentation and no shortage of buyers. Has anyone had experience of purchasing from him, as I am quite keen on one of the storyboards he has for sale. Apologies if this guy has been discussed before.

    Strewth, just seen the latest price on these chips, (as of 1915 today). Do these people know something we don't? That's a hell of a price to pay for something where you can only go on what the seller states without any evidence. There was recently a front number plate from TND from one of the sixteen BMW 750s that they trashed. The guy selling it gave similar evidence as to its authenticity but it didn't sell.

    Just to remind everyone to check out his feedback. It's awful. Not worth the risk. Two negative feedbacks for not sending the item once paid for. It's a massive gamble.

    Also, it's not a complete set IMO. It looked like four demoninations of plaques on screen and in the photos that were released...?

    There are 11 different bidders after these chips, I do hope they know what there doing, :) Does anyone know if he is ever offering a COA, the questions that have asked this, have been ignored by the seller, Beware, I would not trust this seller, as the feedback shows he can be a difficult man to contact -{

    this is his reply:

    "hello thank you for your question. The chips are the one's in the photo. they are original props from the casino scene, they were made for the film by Cartamundi, however these are not the one's they are selling as memorabilia in box sets, these were used in the casino scene in Skyfall. please note as stated in the add that most of the props were destroyed after filming please find attached a photo of me on the casino set at pinewood studios, this will prove their authentication."

    (the picture is some dude in a white dinner jacket)

    I laughed about the whole thing...

    EDIT: I asked specifically if it was the full set, he says the chips are only the ones in the photo... he cant scam for shiat
    EDIT 2: fck... 500 quid for that? I wont even feel sorry for the idiot who purchased them

    I am pretty sure, that I know some of the people who are after this set and I can assure you that they are far from being idiots like you say.

    These have been pulled, love to know why, either someone made him a really good offer, he's seen sense and realised we're not all as stupid as he is, or finally he had a knock on the door from those lovely people from EON. What do we reckon guys?

    OR he was wacked in some public bathroom and the set was stolen.

    Well I'll put my hand up and say that I was waiting and had a personal limit of £750, and yes I would have gone in at that. My gut feel is that someone has offered him 4 figures and he's taken it ...... And quietly I think someone has made a good investment there.

    no, not really. Everything has to have solid pedigree and actual, physical provenance. There are people who buy based on "inner knowledge" and I have first hand experience dealing with screen used items (I had in my possesion a certain stars leather motorcycle jacket that appeared in a flick) and getting solid authentication is hard but without it you can only go so far. Not knockin' the authenticity of the items (probably real just saying that is all comes down to your evidence and so far everything Ive seen is circumstantial at best. Otherwise you can never truly know. And the guy's feedback doesnt help his case at all)
